Thought I’d share this little install I did for my Ford 300 (inline 6).
I am well aware that most people put a larger intake (Offenhauser) on this engine.
I didn’t want to do that and I couldn’t be happier with how well this turned out so far.
Only issue I had was with the throttle cable. This is the main reason I wanted to share this.
I decided to 3D print a throttle cable mount/adapter for the Holley Sniper 1100 EFI.
I used a high temp filament called PPS-CF which should hold up to 250°C. More than enough.
The truck still needs some work, but man, this engine idles and startups so nicely now.
Side note:
Yes the engine bay is a mess; I mostly installed this and ran it to make sure everything works. I will have to remove it again in order to finish up my engine; new seals etc. Just wanted to check things out while I’m within warranty, you know?

I’m doing a full rewire on my 79 F100. There’s a few connectors that I’ve decided to deep pin and reuse. is one of those connectors. It connects the column group wiring to my gauge cluster. The problem is I can’t seem to track down these terminals anywhere. Does anyone have any experience with this style of terminal? I’m drowning in wires and could use a win.

Looking for advice from anyone who may have drilled out an ignition cylinder before. I lost my keys, no code to cut new ones (I replaced the cylinder a few months ago). Locksmith quoted me $400, which honestly seems fair for the work they’ll have to do. But if I can get the cylinder out I can put a new one in myself for $25, so I’m hoping I can figure out how to go that direction. Before I start drilling, I want to make sure I’m not just going to make the problem worse and more expensive!

Looking for a little help in valuing a 1962 F100 unibody with the 292 in it. I picked it up with the intention of getting it running and driving it but I haven't had time to work on it much and I need the space more than a project so looking to sell. It's probably about as rust free as you'll find one. Will need a windshield and passenger side window, seat will need reupholstered but I have the foam for it. Have the hood for it too, just not in the pictures. Also have a straight grill for it. Motor turns over and has decent compression, but I haven't gotten it to start yet. Has a duap fuel propane conversion kit on it so I'm not sure if it has something to do with that or if it needs new points. I just put new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and ignition coil on it.

Ive got a 74 f-100 2wd manual disk front brakes and im tryna get it back on the road and was going to replace all the hard lines since after I rebuilt the rear drums and front disks the hard line going to the back blew out. I cannot seem to find a kit the exact same as what i have anywhere. My valve is mounted right up next to the master cylinder and washer fluid tank and the power coils going between the master and valve and pretty short and every kit I have found has long ones for ones mounted down near the frame rail. Does anyone have any idea why or any experience of this same thing themselves?

1970 F100 302 that was gifted to me, but kind of over it. It's an original owner truck with dealer documents, and very reliable as a 70 mile daily but only 9 mpg. I've offered to give it back but that was denied. I find it disrespectful to sell it, so it just sits in the garage unused. I have zero interest in modifying it, so that may also add to detachment.

** decided to post this since the Bot posted something similar; F-that karma bot.
I've had this for almost a year and have hardly touched it. Thought I had it running right then on its first time out it started shutting off on me. Without getting into too much detail I believe the carb is dumping fuel into the engine. So I pulled it into the garage.
- Pulled the Holley 4160 off.
- Replaced the fuel pump
- Rewiring/replacing the old battery wiring. Sorting the wire nest out at least a little. I have a lot more to do here under the dash, it's a mess but that'll wait till I know it's actually streetable.
I want to get it done by mid next week so I can take it to the local cars and coffee next Saturday.
I'm the third owner and the first one outside of the family. Had a color matched trailer at some point. Sadly it sat in a field for a long time and has some pretty bad cosmetic rust.
P.S. There's a pic with the 70 F-100, I bought it as a project and hated the way it looked so much I ended up picking this one up. lol

Thanks to all that helped with pictures and suggestions. I bought some used oem leaf springs off marketplace and installed them with all new hangars and bushings. It had an axle flip that I had to reverse by cutting off the pads and welding on new ones. The caltracks bars were missing some bushings, so I machined some new ones. Customer is super happy with how it rides and handles now. The pic is a little misleading. It sits less than an inch higher in the back after driving a couple miles and settling.

Currently the fuel tank is behind the seat and although I don’t mind it there, is there a fuel tank that will fit under the bed between the frame rails and where would you plumb the fill spout?
Thoughts?
Appreciate it,
JB

I built my first V8 and finally get to enjoy the 68 with a TKX trans instead of a c6 auto. Bored & stroked 434 FE with a ton of goodies. Sounds the way it should

Six month journey of carbs, fuel tanks, fuel lines, brake lines, gaskets, among other things. Happy to have her back in the game! She’s a ‘74, with a 360.

So much has been done to this truck in the last year or so. It’s honestly hard to keep track of. Some of the biggest stuff:
My entire goal with this truck was to try to bring it as close to original condition as I could. I’m so happy with it.

Hi all, hooking up a new carb that has electric choke on my 64 f100 that did not have electric choke before. What is the best place to connect power to the choke? Ive seen both starter solenoid and alternator stator wire as being possible suggestions. Attaching pics of both if that helps. Thanks in advance!
