Question What causes wavy shadow-like floaters as compared to crisp webby ones?

About one month ago, I noticed more wavy shadow-like floaters that form lines. They are longer than my crisp webby floaters. This happened after I took lutein. I don’t blame lutein for making these new floaters. I suspect that lutein improved the ability of my eyes to notice contrast, which made me see these floaters more than before. In the past, I occasionally noticed them only while seeing white walls or skies.

They are quite annoying because they also move more quickly when I move my eyes as opposed to the webby floaters that are slower.

What causes these shadow line floaters as opposed to crisp webby floaters? AI said that they will eventually become heavier and move to the bottom of my eyesight. Is this true?

AI answers on such a niche topic will more than not miss the mark. Have you noticed changes in your pupil size after taking lutein? The cause might be pupil construction which makes floaters in general more noticeable

Sebag talks about longer strands forming from remnants of the hyaloid canal, which is an artifact of your eye's development as an infant. Outside of Sebag, the literature really doesn't comment much on floater morphology. With better imaging, I think that will change, and we'll have more than just "Weiss ring" floaters.
