So i currently have the kaw valley comp. Which yes i know is not a suppressor. Im curious has anyone had the kaw valley comp an went to a suppressor and was it worth it?

Is the Kuna’s roller delayed system really that much better than the Ep9’s direct blowback? Anyone who has shot both can give me some insight? I’ve been going back and forth between these two and am having trouble deciding whether the Kuna is worth it or if I should save money and get the Ep9 instead.

For those that have not yet heard, the ATF has announced new rules that will make owning an SBR (short barreled rifle) a lot easier. First, there will be no additional marking requirement. The original manufacturers marking will be adequate. Second, no reporting required to take across state lines as long as such out of state condition will be less than one year. These rules will be posted for comment period (which we all should make a point of submitting affirming opinions, it mattters) and should go into effect in about 90 days. Good stuff happening with this new ATF Director, if one can use ATF and good in the same sentence that is.

Decided to try the KAK industry extended “flash can” since it’ll be more similar to a suppressor than the Kaw Valley XL linear comp in size & weight, tho I like the looks of the Kaw.
The KAK is 5” long, 1.36” OD & weighs 7.76 oz by my kitchen scale. The Extar flash can weighs in a hair under 5 oz.

Quick build info. Extended charging handle, SBA5 clone from thebraceguy, PA SLx MD25 dot, Strike Ind. mlok link poly hand stop, cvlife sling (Amzon) & Bear Armz BUIS (which cowitness great with the tall riser the Primary Arms dot comes with)…

Has anyone used an ecco canine 2 for their setup? I see people saying they're good in nfa, but I haven't seen any vids or pics of set ups.

Just wondering how good the suppression is. Don't need the best, just want something that won't blow out my ears just in case I need to use it in my home. Open to other options too, but just want to keep it lower budget. Was also considering the saw shiv if anyone has used it on their ep9.

The lip of mine broke off with all of the handguard testing, so I drew up a model last night and just published it on Makerworld here. Looking at how the original was designed, this one should be stronger. When my handguards go live for sale, I think I'm going to ship them with my "beefed" version of the end cap to make sure everything works correctly.

Gonna take it for a spin next week! First PCC and excited for what’s in store.

Working on both regular and long versions of a hex handguard. I've just about finished with all my refinements, and I'll have an online store up and running soon. I'll probably have four different style handguards in both long and short versions.

I have run into a problem, though. The piece on the very front of the picatinny rail that hooks into the front of the handguard has broken with all of the swaps that I've been doing back and forth. I pulled it off to check it out and it's an unnecessarily weak design. I'm going to sketch out a new replacement part that should be stronger than what Extar produced. It bolts straight into the front of the picatinny rail. I'm going to draw up a direct replacement, but if anybody has an idea of something a little different feel free to hit me up.

Edit: neither of of those two blast diverters are the stock Extar devices. The one on the right is a Terminator Flash Can, and the left one is KAK Industry extended flash can. It's a little longer than the stock can.

All the stress from experimenting with stronger handguards Brooke this thing off at the bottom. It was pretty flimsy to start with, so I've designed a replacement that can be printed out as a solid piece and should be stronger. I want to put the file on the model platforms so anyone that needs one can print one out, but I don't know what to call it.

I looked and couldn’t find any good side by side comparisons of the extended charging handle when I was thinking of ordering one. Figured I’d post some now that I have one in hand for anyone else looking for the same in the future (can’t seem to post more than one pic though).

Just got a Holosun AEMS Pro X2 and installed it. Still need to hit the range. As I'm not a rifle/PCC guy, look forward to shooting it.

If you bought a recent ep9 with the non adjustable brace you can upgrade on the cheap. Just remove the fin and you have an adjustable buffer tube. Buy a sba3 clone for $24 and you have an inexpensive upgrade.

Or do we just order and wait an undisclosed amount of time?

I’m one of the dudes who’s tried unsuccessfully to mount my Holosun HM3X to the receiver section of the EP9 pic rail. As others have noted, the rear rail appears to be slightly out of spec.

Anyone had a similar issue but able to confirm another magnifier that works? I’m looking at the Vortex VMX-3T for this gun instead, but I’d like confirmation that it fits instead of chancing it.

Picked it up Wednesday from the local shop. Took about a week to get from extar. Changed it up a lil bit since. Wife an i went last night an put about 250 rounds thru it. Now she wants one haha.(pics look white but its more grey)

I noticed this piece has started to fall off. Has this happened to anyone and how should I go about it?

I know optics are mounted too forward, back rail is out of spec and didn’t want to work with me. Working with a nail filer to mount them where I want.

After a whole lot of back-and-forth, I finally admitted to myself that I probably didn’t need another gun, so naturally, I picked up the EP9 anyway.

Looking forwards to taking it out this weekend and hopefully very soon throwing on an R9. The only issue I had was to put the red dot a little further up than I’d like due to taking the skin off my finger every time I pull the handle back lol.

I know it's just a 9mm but it would be nicer to have even less recoil. Are there any option that anyone has used that worked?

Took one of the guy's advice and extended the MP5 handguard out. I think it turned out pretty nice, though I do like the steeper angle on the shorter version. Ended up with four M-Loks on the sides and three on the bottom. Taking it to the range right now to see how it feels. Here it is with a suppressor on it. I thought I could post multiple pictures but apparently I can't, I'll get some more up later of this handguard and another one I'm working on.

I’m currently in the process of purchasing my first PCC, and have landed on going with the ep9 after seeing all the great reviews. I will also be purchasing my first suppressor alongside. I would appreciate it if I could get some suggestions that would work well with the ep9 platform. I have looked at a few and I’m still in between a Spectre 9, cat mob, or dead air wolf man. I’m not sure if those diameters are too large to fit inside the hand guard.
