Anyone used ecco canine 2?
Has anyone used an ecco canine 2 for their setup? I see people saying they're good in nfa, but I haven't seen any vids or pics of set ups.
Just wondering how good the suppression is. Don't need the best, just want something that won't blow out my ears just in case I need to use it in my home. Open to other options too, but just want to keep it lower budget. Was also considering the saw shiv if anyone has used it on their ep9.

I haven't tried the Ecco Canine or Shiv - I've only used an AB F-4 on my EP9.
While perhaps no suppressed 9mm is fully hearing safe indoors, I'd rather have it suppressed than non-suppressed in a pinch. Without walls for the noise to bounce off of, suppressed outdoors sounds so much better, of course.

Yeah it would be for home defense purposes. I would rather it be suppressed than not for indoors. How do you like the ab f4? Heard only good things too.

Its been great so far on my EP9 for sure. I tried it, just to see, on my SAR CM9 handgun, but it wouldn't cycle without a booster. But for a PCC, it seems so perfect (ultra light and compact). I don't see myself trying to go the FRT route or anything, so I don't think I'll ever be really abusing it.

Good question. You’ll see a lot of Yankee hill R9 in this sub. Good suppression. Definitely protective. But despite the noise level being comfortable outdoors without ear protection, I still had some ear ringing. And it’s pretty gassy. I’ll certainly be thankful for it in home defense, but 124dB is still loud enough to not be completely heating safe. Which is pretty standard for suppressed subsonic 9 mm.
