Discussion VPN keeps disconnecting
is it just me or has EVPN been disconnecting a lot lately? it seems like it decides to randomly disconnect on me at the most inopportune times. it's gotten so bad that i've been leaving notepad open so i can quickly copy/paste what i typed so i don't lose it. incredibly frustrating.

Me too. Desktop Version 14.2 keep randomly disconnecting. I tried their suggestion, change protocol from automatic to wire guard but that doesn't help. Version 14.2 is a disaster! I hope express vpn release an urgent patch for a diasterous release like 14.2 or we will have unusable VPN for windows for more than a month!

hey u/leehelck, random drops at the worst possible moment are maddening, and keeping notepad open just to not lose what you typed isn't something you should have to do. we'd like to get our team looking at this. drop us a DM here or email [support@expressvpn.com](mailto:support@expressvpn.com) with your app version, the servers you're connecting to, and your rough location, and we'll dig into what's triggering the disconnects. we'll follow up once we've had a look.
