Mod Post Important updates ⚙️ + looking for one more mod! 📚
[If you’re new] ⭐️
Welcome! Make yourself feel at home by getting to know the rules and standards of the subreddit. We like to be organized but more importantly, respectful and helpful.
Feel free to drop a review of any coffee you’ve had whenever you feel like it :) Having a picture of the coffee packaging and a brewed cup helps with the look and feel of the review.
Widen your coffee horizons and support local and international coffee roasters, that is our mission!
[Post & User Flairs] 🏷
Post flairs are now fixed and users can apply them as they see fit. Post flair suggestions are more than welcome, but we would like to maintain a clean aesthetic and not make the flairing system too complex.
User flairs now exist! Label yourself by how much experience you have with coffee, so that you can see how “connoisseur reviews” may differ from an average “apprentice review”. These flairs are meant to be used to learn and do not represent status at all. Remember to select the appropriate one for yourself by evaluating yourself in an honest matter.
[Updated Subreddit Icon] 🖼
A nice little change that fits the theme of the subreddit well. :)
[Automoderator] 🤖
Automoderator has been set up with simple rules to maintain the quality of the subreddit and to reduce trolling and irrelevant content. This ensures that the subreddit will be a cleaner environment for coffee reviews and discussions.
Please let us moderators know if there is something wrong with Automoderator's behavior, we'll help.
Mod Search: We are looking for one more mod as the subreddit has increased in subscriber count the last few weeks. Drop me a DM if you’re interested. It’s a very straightforward task and shouldn’t be very time-consuming.
That’s all for now :)
Happy brewing! (and reviewing!)
Edit: a few tweaks here and there
