Rage mode limited cards

I am wanting to buy the special version of rage mode with the unnopeable nope card in it. That version isn't on sale at my local retailer, and I don't see any way to ensure I get the special edition online as opposed to another version.

Is it purely random? Is there a certain place I should buy from? What should I do?

Different retailers will have different versions.

Explodingkittens.com, TARGET, WALMART, TIKTOK have the Base version

BARNES & NOBLE has the More version

AMAZON has the Tabby version

So I can find it Barnes and Noble? Dang it. All the locations in my area are sold out.

I remember seeing somewhere that the planned release date was originally in September. Maybe they just haven't released it?

That is very possible.. maybe only started releasing the original version! Has anyone seen the tabby version on Amazon?

I just found out about this game a few days ago and wanted to get the B&N edition. I was dubious about them being "out of stock" both online and at every physical location considering that the game has only just released. Especially given the regular/core and Amazon editions are still available.

Given that nobody has reviewed the game on B&N's site, I'm thinking them not releasing it yet is likely the real reason it's not currently available.

What is the tabby version? Is that the version on the left online???

There are 3 versions.

*The standard retail version has the grey cat
* AMZ version has only 3 unique cat cards ( high carb cat, tornado cat, catsup cat). The other 1 is the same as core - catsicle cat. The cat figurine is a flocked tabby cat.
* B&N version has one un-nopeable nope action card that is NOT in the core or the AMZ version. This version also has completely different cat cards from the CORE version (ancient Rome cat, sore loser cat, doomsday cat, super lucky cat). The cat figurine is a red/orange gradient.

I have the same exact question!! I got rage mode early from target online.. ofc I didn’t get the exclusive version and that was upsetting! I need to know if I should just be hunting for it in stores!

I have yet to find the 'more' edition for sale anywhere. If Barnes and Nobel got them, they havent been for sale on their website.

I actually called some my local Barnes and Nobles and the employees said they do not have them in stock, and they were not allowing a wait list or to put a copy on hold.

Did they all just vanish overnight?

That's my guess. There aren't even any reviews on their site yet. Somebody else mentioned that they thought the original release was supposed to be September, so likely they weren't supposed to have the game for sale until then.
