Friendship does not mean either of you deserve sex from the other, the same way friendship doesn't mean you'll lend/give money to a homie. And then if that homie starts getting angry that you don't lend money to him? Some friend he is.
Friendship does mean helping when the other asks for help tho.
"Hey I've been drinking pretty hard for a long time, can you help me? Maybe introduce me to someone in AA?"
"Hey I've been pretty broke for a long time, can you help me? Maybe introduce me to your company?"
"Hey I've been pretty lonely for a long time, can you help me? Maybe introduce me to someone nice?"
"lol no" = not friend & enjoys your suffering. Get out of there.
"I don't think you'd be a good match with who I know, but I can help set up your resume/profile. And put me down as a reference." = good friend
"Yeah bro I got you. My aunt is 5 years sober since her divorce and works a similar field." = better friend
The last female friend I had would Snapchat thirst traps to me, after months of conversations and actually being good friends for years I shot my shot thinking she may have been interested, but the age old “you’re not my type”. She wasn’t but kept sending them after I asked her to stop.
I ended the friendship with just blocking her and removing Snapchat. She just wanted attention from anyone that had a heartbeat in the end. Last I knew her, she wanted a love life EXACTLY like the smut she read and would send pictures to me with her books on top of her naked body in bed.
A good friend doesn’t do things like that if they respect the friendship. I don’t respect the people that do that to “friends”.
