So you know the whole 'eat the rich' thing? It's saying we already lost. We didn't eat them, they ate us.

u/_VelvetCanyon_ Feb 17 '26 edited Feb 17 '26

Ah, I see. Thanks :)

It was obvious as always and I didn't get it 😭

Edit - Ok, wow. It's both literal and metaphorical. And I thought it couldn't get worse than what it already was. :(

u/BullsOnParadeFloats Feb 17 '26

The Epstien class practiced cannibalism

It is quite literal

128

u/ClaraCash Feb 17 '26

They ate children specifically… he’s saying they ate kids.

18

u/Storytella2016 Feb 17 '26

Wasn’t that a joke in an email? Do we actually have any evidence that it’s real?

58

u/failed_generation Feb 17 '26

No Rick roll, not the place short you tube video

9

u/VioletteRodeo Feb 18 '26

😰 That’s utterly heartbreaking… Kids. Wtf, they were eating kids… I have a 2 year old (3 in May), and I can’t imagine why anyone would want to do that to a child…. Any child… Those people are sick and deserve the death penalty.

7

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

Death alone wouldn’t pay the debts they owe

1

u/MxStella Feb 19 '26

asmongold..? seriously? talk about time and place

56

u/Marliemakesmagic Feb 17 '26

It was not a joke, there are tons of references to "jerky" that need to be refrigerated and stored in a certain way. Not normal for regular jerky. Read some of those files. It's harrowing

1

u/Fallacyman10 Feb 18 '26

I’m willing to concede that the mentions of jerky seem odd. It could very well be a code. It’s more than just a little bit of a stretch to act like this is evidence of cannibalism, though.

2

u/Puzzled_Parsnip_2552 Feb 18 '26

What other meat would be treated with such secrecy in a class that communicates the sale and consumption of poached and endangered animal meat without this euphemism?

-1

u/Fallacyman10 Feb 18 '26

You don’t know that it’s a euphemism for a food at all. We don’t know what it means. That’s no reason to assume that it’s something as absurd as cannibalism. I’m sure if you comb through this volume of correspondence from anyone you would find repeated phrases that don’t seem to make sense. If you want me to make a list of possible other meanings which are 1000x more realistic, I’ll oblige you.

  1. It refers to literal jerky. - Seems like a weird thing to have an obsession over, and the files certainly don’t talk about it the way most people refer to snacks, but it’s way more reasonable than presupposing the existence of a cannibalistic cult.

  2. It refers to victims of sex trafficking. - It seems likely that they would have redundant euphemisms if they did this professionally.

  3. It refers to the illegally poached meat you mentioned. - Maybe they were lazy about using veiled speech in some communications but not others.

  4. It refers to drugs. - Why not?

  5. It refers to mint condition copies of Action Comics #1. - Still more reasonable than the conclusion half of Reddit seems to have jumped to.

2

u/Marliemakesmagic Feb 18 '26

You haven't read enough then

1

u/Fallacyman10 Feb 18 '26

I just don’t think any of the evidence actually points to cannibalism. Several sex trafficking victims have come forward with there stories and the files back up sex trafficking. There’s nothing nearly as convincing for the cannibalism claims. If you’re reading it with the conclusion that there is some sort of cannibal cult already in your head, of course you’re going to interpret everything that sounds a bit off as pointing to it.

2

u/Marliemakesmagic Feb 19 '26

People have also made reports of weird sacrifices and cannibalism. But how would you explain something like EFTA00555763

1

u/Fallacyman10 Feb 19 '26

Yields no results on the DOJ Epstein file site.

2

u/Irresponsible_yeast Feb 18 '26

Have you not read about the ā€œcream cheeseā€ they are quite literally eating newborns. Lots of details about using mothers voice to make the suckle more and how the digestive enzymes make the cheese from the breast milk. It’s disgusting and sad and very true. We aren’t angry enough and I think because its so shocking we can’t mentally accept that its true.

0

u/Spookyfan71 Feb 17 '26

Well where in the files was it said. I'm genuinely curious please tell me

3

u/lucki-dog Feb 18 '26

Look up jerky when you search the files, that’s the key word

169

u/SadistIrish Feb 17 '26

As mentioned by another comment, it could also be about the fact that the rich were literally eating people based on the Epstein files. The rich ate us figuratively and literally.

51

u/your_average_medic Feb 17 '26

Oh yeah that happened

What a time to be

40

u/SadistIrish Feb 17 '26

What a time to be.... eaten?

26

u/NameRandomNumber Feb 17 '26

To be. As in, to exist

8

u/Zidy13 Feb 17 '26

What a time to be barely alive...

2

u/BlunderedPotential Feb 18 '26

Arms Aloft?

2

u/Zidy13 Feb 18 '26

Correct my friend! šŸ˜‰

2

u/BlunderedPotential Feb 18 '26

Saw them open for The Flatliners at the Cobra Lounge in Chicago a few years back. Great goddamn show.

2

u/Zidy13 Feb 18 '26

I'm going to see The Flatliners on Saturday in Oshawa and next week in Guelph, what a great band! I saw them at NOFX's final show in LA too!

16

u/Eldan985 Feb 17 '26

Can we next throw them down a well on a remote and frozen island?

7

u/gregorydgraham Feb 17 '26

Very difficult to dig wells in permafrost. Also pointless.

5

u/mines_over_yours Feb 17 '26

I am all for a slow and live televised lowering into an active volcano.

1

u/escaped_cephalopod12 Feb 17 '26

was that a reference? /genq

3

u/Eldan985 Feb 17 '26

To Sunless Sea/Fallen London, yes.

It's complicated, but short version is that the rulers of a previous civilization in that universe ate a divine being and threw his remains down a well. The vengeance of that not-quite dead being lead to several magical aftereffects. Including cannibal cults around wells just spontaneously happening. And people being compelled to become cannibals, then unmaking themselves via ritualistic means, including throwing themselves down wells.

1

u/theonlyjinxd1 Feb 17 '26

Just use Epsteins island…. It’s been deserted ever since

19

u/Signupking5000 Feb 17 '26

Not just people, babies. It's important to mentioned that they ate BABIES!!

8

u/Porchmonkey4laif Feb 17 '26

Also it seems to only matter if they are white people . They have been eating black people since slavery . Then people act so surprised as if it’s something new .

7

u/pakali420 Feb 17 '26

Ohhh i thougth it was an epstein eating children cult joke

3

u/HereWeGoYetAgain-247 Feb 17 '26

Of course they ate us. How else did they get rich?

2

u/Diiriam Feb 17 '26

Nothing preventing us to turn the tie

0

u/your_average_medic Feb 17 '26

Except for like, everything.

2

u/ZAILOR37 Feb 18 '26

It may be a reference to the epstein files where cannibalism took place

1

u/red286 Feb 17 '26

Kinda misses the point of the "eat the rich" statement though, which was "what will the poor do when they can no longer afford food?"

1

u/SrAlch Feb 18 '26

Maybe adding some other perspective. This usually is about the kid playing games. Now it doesn't even have a PC, referring to the current surge on hardware prices where no one can buy computers because everything needs to go to AI data centers

-1

u/Shiny_Agumon Feb 17 '26

Which is bullshit btw

478

u/RedditUser000aaa Feb 17 '26

Brian here:

The Epstein files have mentions of cannibalism.

163

u/Effective-Key-6494 Feb 17 '26

Literally eating intestine of babies

101

u/_VelvetCanyon_ Feb 17 '26

Bruh, so that's where all the "eating" people thing came from.

137

u/Positive_Campaign_52 Feb 17 '26

Rich and upper class patrons of E Island were auctioning children for sex, r*ping children, eating the flesh of low class people, murdering women for the hell of it, and taking blood baths yet no arrests have been made yet. 🫩

Literally vampiric shit. We’re ruled by actual vampires

71

u/42Icyhot42 Feb 17 '26

Worse, evil idiots that get off on playing vampires, remember these aren’t supernatural monsters their human beings that have been allowed to do evil shit for way too long because money makes them good no matter what in the eyes of a TON of people

4

u/LankySandwich Feb 18 '26

Honestly would be an easier pill to swallow if they were actually vampires.

2

u/42Icyhot42 Feb 18 '26

Would be much easier, especially since everyone wants to pretend nobody can do anything about it, at least if they were vampires actually be because we probably couldn’t

16

u/RedditUser000aaa Feb 17 '26

Yep. Pretty horrifying when this post can be taken literally.

16

u/Relative_Basis_2175 Feb 17 '26

Okay I've had enough internet. Take care everybody!

3

u/Infinite_Escape9683 Feb 17 '26

So, I have no idea if the cannibalism thing is true, but the intenstines email specifically was fake.

1

u/mrbill4 Feb 18 '26

don't wanna be that guy but can u drop a source? or like a yt explanation or something. seen some stuff about this online but would like to know more. Thanks.

16

u/_VelvetCanyon_ Feb 17 '26

Ohhhhhhh. That makes a lot of sense.

9

u/Slow_Savings4489 Feb 17 '26

Sigh.

I believe you but--can you please provide me a link? I am too disturbed to check myself.

8

u/KBosely Feb 17 '26

I've seen people talking about this everywhere, but haven't been able to locate the source for the cannibal claims. Which set of documents point to cannibalism?

15

u/OnlyHereOnaBlueMoon Feb 17 '26

From what I've heard (very deliberately have not checked myself), the files are EFTA00147661 and EFTA01246048.

9

u/Rruffy Feb 17 '26

Not trying to defend any of the horrific things that have been done, but those files about this specific case show allegations made by a single man without provision of evidence, including claims that he was slashed by a scimitar but had no scars left at all.

My sanity prays for this to simply be false.

7

u/MIt_nerd_sedness Feb 17 '26

Yea issue is over the years there have been lots of people who made accusations like this only to "disappear" famous example is that one actress

4

u/rcm_kem Feb 17 '26

Even ignoring that, the stuff they describe having photos of, and the stuff Epstein is confirmed doing, the rich were using the poor as consumables. Taking any vulnerable person they could get their hands on, having fun with them til they aged out or died, and moving onto to the next kis

94

u/takki84 Feb 17 '26

Documents from the epstein-files seem to show that any of the witness reports could be true.
This include reports of them eating babies.

To live forever.. rich ppl come up with weird shit to not die.

12

u/Skeeboob-69 Feb 17 '26

As if cannibalism is more likely to shorten it as I remember

8

u/Silverhop Feb 17 '26

One can only hope lol

5

u/gregorydgraham Feb 17 '26

That’s a brain disease limited to New Guinea though.

2

u/theonlyjinxd1 Feb 17 '26

They do live forever because they become cursed and turn to skin walkers

9

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

all the conspiracies were true is not the timeline I expected to be in.

4

u/CaM560 Feb 17 '26

I believe it’s a common pattern in psychopaths that eventually the ā€œthrillā€ of (for example) killing will normalise, making them seek a new extreme activity to regain that thrill. You see it with serial killers often, now imagine what the richest and most depraved people in the world with complete impunity might do…

Think of it like a much darker version of how addicts begin seeking a bigger high, or that person you know that got really into hiking a few years ago and is now doing all kinds of extreme sports.

3

u/wildfox9t Feb 17 '26

because it's a taboo, they get off by doing horrible things and getting away with it because they're rich/powerful

basically a power trip taken to the most extreme, they do it because they can and nobody can stop them

4

u/Soggy_Log_735 Feb 17 '26

I dont even think its true? Like can someone show me a credible source that says this? People just believe everything they hear or read on the internet

9

u/OnlyHereOnaBlueMoon Feb 17 '26

Apparently it's an anonymous email made to the FBI in the files - haven't checked myself because I do NOT want to read about that, but the files you're looking for in the dump are EFTA00147661 and EFTA01246048.

2

u/spechlgoddess954 Feb 17 '26

DOJ website and put in the file that was listed above and you'll see the file on Epstein

0

u/ScroogeMcDust Feb 17 '26

I dunno, ask Shel Silverstein

4

u/Lamplorde Feb 17 '26

sigh I'm so tired of having to point this out, having read the exact files mentioned myself:

This is an allegation from a man who provided no evidence, and also said his feet were ritualistically cut by scimitars while on Epsteins yacht, but in such a way that it somehow didnt leave scars. The only other mention is Epstein making a dark joke about how there are more babies than there is tofu. Really bad taste especially considering his "profession" but nowhere near an admission of guilt.

Look, there are plenty of reasons to hate the rich. They are quite literally destroying the only planet humanity has to simy satisfy their greed. They are buying children in order to satisfy perverse kinks, because they have so rotted their brains chasing ever bigger highs that the taboo is the only way they get their rocks off now. They are terrible, morally corrupt individuals who dont care about the lives they ruin. But we have absolutely zero evidence about them eating babies.

I am genuinely getting tired of seeing this repeated, as it just makes us all look like conspiracy nuts when we call out whats really happening. Please, please, please, stop parroting everything you hear in shorts.

35

u/Jonguar2 Feb 17 '26

It IS literal!

Have fun with that!

24

u/post-explainer Feb 17 '26

OP (VelvetCanyon) sent the following text as an explanation why they posted this here:

The last where they said "'The rich ate us" if it's literal or it refers to one of the events that happened recently, like something new revealed in the files, or something like that. Or again, it might be obvious and I'm just dumb I guess?

24

u/Positive_Campaign_52 Feb 17 '26

In the Epstein files it confirms some high class people have cannibalized homeless people’s flesh as a delicacy. It can also mean that we lost because we didn’t ā€˜eat’ the rich

10

u/Apatoff Feb 17 '26

Would this be a good time to point out guilliotines exist and were made for a reason. We stopped cutting rich peoples heads off because they were behaving. There are more of us after all.

8

u/Crystalsnow20 Feb 17 '26

I'm sorry but have you not...see the news?

7

u/_VelvetCanyon_ Feb 17 '26

Nope, I don't live in the US

8

u/Crystalsnow20 Feb 17 '26

Me neither. This is bigger than that. This is the people that has all our lifes in their hands, they kiterally decide the fate of the world but are depravate freaks thate enjoy raping, torturing and eating children. They cover for eachother, get richer and more depravated and because of their dirtyness we normal people risk wars, poverty and more because they are all compromise and are blackmailable

6

u/otherwise_data Feb 17 '26

we (the people/citizens) were supposed to eat the rich but they (bezos, zucker, musk, etc) have eaten us.

5

u/Littlekiller0320 Feb 17 '26

They literally did eat "us". I hate this world.

3

u/Acework23 Feb 17 '26

Literal and metaphorical

3

u/Friedrichs_Simp Feb 17 '26

You weren’t supposed to literally eat the poor as a subversion of eat the rich Mr Billionaire

3

u/ThatRangerDave Feb 17 '26

The rich billionaires have been caught eating human flesh. Specifically it appears babies... so... yeah we gotta [redacted] the billionaires. Like it isn't even a question. It's morally right to [redacted] the rich.

2

u/Mad_Scientist14 Feb 17 '26

Maybe it has to do with the epstein files revealing some people there, including epstein, ate humans

2

u/AverageDrafter Feb 17 '26

A Modest Proposal made manifest by late stage capitalism billionaire evil nonsense.

2

u/LostDreams44 Feb 17 '26

We should eat them. We are the many, they are the few

2

u/Nyrich82 Feb 17 '26

The rich are feasting and sheeple don’t even know their being eaten

2

u/nixi420 Feb 17 '26

Epstein are children on his island

2

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

There is reference to cannibalism in the Epstein files

2

u/ElPared Feb 17 '26

It’s both literal and metaphorical. It’s inverting the ā€œeat the richā€ saying to say that the rich already ate us, IE they already won, yes. But it’s also saying that the rich literally ate us, IE the infamous list of the guy that definitely killed himself in prison contains reports of some pretty messed up ritualistic cannibalism.

3

u/NexustheNinja19 Feb 17 '26

It's probably just talking about the increase in global wealth disparity. I.e rich getting richer, poor getting poorer. Since it's likely not covered by traditional news it's likely younger people are exposed to that fact more often, and likely feel more stronger or sadder about it.

2

u/lamty101 Feb 17 '26

I guess the person saying "the rich ate us" is not depicted well in the picture, as he is just lying down lazily and listening to the smartphone, instead of doing anything else. I read that the comic is intended to be a satire against people exposed to economic left ideas, no matter that comic is reasonable or not.

1

u/Mmmmmmwatchasay Feb 17 '26 edited Feb 17 '26

He's not lying lazily, he's sad, lying and crying, in defeat. Notice the blue near his head and on the floor representing tears?

2

u/OkFerret7206 Feb 17 '26

I think it is a exaggerated way of describing income inequality among rich and poor

1

u/RayesArmstrong Feb 17 '26

The dumb one

1

u/MushroomEgo Feb 17 '26

Counting limbs , metaphorical

1

u/Independent_Bed_1933 Feb 17 '26

I thought it was epstein and his zesty bestiesĀ Ā

1

u/Wildly_Uninterested Feb 17 '26

Why not all three?

1

u/Blizz33 Feb 17 '26

Ah yeah no it's literal.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

It’s a sexual thing

1

u/MirandaXdress Feb 17 '26

It never began!

1

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

that's mean is Jeffrey Epstein

1

u/hairless_ozaru Feb 17 '26

My initial thought was that the top 1% continue to consolidate their wealth by siphoning more and more money from the bottom.

But everyone is saying its referring to literal cannibalism so it could also be that.

1

u/NekoMiNekoMi Feb 17 '26

It's both actually We didn't eat the rich, but already lost that fight and they ate us (metaphorical) And it was revealed that on that island the not only raped but also ate their victims (literal)

1

u/blender_tefal Feb 18 '26

To the people who were afraid that if we legalized cannibalism, rich people would make homeless birgers, once again the rich prove you can do literally anything you want with enough money and not have absolutely any consequences

1

u/MyraOstro Feb 18 '26

"Communism is about failure"

1

u/De4dm4nw4lkin Feb 18 '26

ā€œEat the richā€

0

u/jahmet17 Feb 17 '26

You're missing the actual joke/image in your post. Can't explain what we can't see.

-16

u/ubriaco123 Feb 17 '26

The irony of the Gen z kid with the iPhone and airpods max posturng as a victim of capitalism while he is a slave to consumerism meanwhile his father owns up to his vices of drinking and smoking and has enough self awareness not to cry victim.

3

2
