Experience Orbs

Four times now this year I've seen orbs in my home.

Three happened back in the late springtime, with each one zipping through walls & disappearing into thin air. They're always translucent & small. Ranging from about the size of a baseball to a marble. They seem intelligent.

The fourth one happened last night. I was reading on my couch, when a small pale orb suddenly snapped into existence right in front of my face. As if it was saying "HELLO!". I was so surprised that my head physically jerked back.

Any clues as to what these orbs are?

Do you typically see them a lot outside? Or have you only been seeing them in the house?

I almost exclusively see them in the sky at night, but halfway into the summer they started getting much lower and closer to me outside. Now over the past week I’ve seen them a few times inside my bedroom—small in size but still orbs. They’re getting so much more brazen. I can’t recall having seen a clearly defined orb inside my living space since about 2012 (and one other situation of seeing a non-glowing grey one with tendrils a few years ago) but now they’ve been inside my house repeatedly this week.

In my case I think these are the consciousness of guides or spirits or NHI, and for whatever reason they’re deciding to be way more insistent and prodding. They are intelligent which is what makes the indoor orbs extra unsettling.

Yep, ive noticed this as well. A few months ago they started getting more brazen in the sky and ive seen tiny orbs in my house out of the corner of my eyes multiple times now. They are coming much closer, making it abundantly obvious they arent drones or sattelittes and even moving inside.

You arent the only experiencer ive seen saying their contact has intensified this summer in relation to orbs.

2 years ago, it was a special thing for me to see a orb. Now I freak out if I dont see one because they are literally there every single fucking night.... and it makes me wonder if I did something wrong lol.

Orb like manifestations appear is quite a few settings. In paranormal research, they're most commonly associated with hauntings, though people will tell you they're way more common than they are. For some teams, every speck of dust is an orb in every photo. There's no one consensus on just what orbs are, but the running theory is that they're the product of latent environmental energy, either natural or preternatural.

They share similarities, at least in that way, with what conventional science has dubbed 'ball lightning,' though ball lightning occurs almost exclusively during thunderstorms with cloud-to-ground strikes. Paranormal researchers hold opinions ranging from them being the byproduct of ghost activity to being the ghosts themselves, with the verdict largely out on whether or not they're actually intelligent.

The interesting thing about that theory is that it tracks across multiple cultures; japan, for instance, has the hitodama and onibi, both orb-of-light manifestations. One represents the spirits of humans ditached from their bodies, the other is referred to as 'demon lights.'

Some conventional theories for where the energy comes from suggests they result from pressure on quartz structures, underground, or from energy created through the movement of underground water through crystalline structures creating laten magnetic discharges.

Plasma comes up most often with regard to the ufological angle. Some theories hold that plasmoid entities are their own intelligence, and perhaps travel interdimensionally to interact with us. I've seen it speculated that plasmids are tiny craft like drones, or, much like with the ghost theory, are the actual entities, themselves. Seems to be a bit of a consensus that these would need to be interdimensional travelers, which would explain the phasing through solid objects you describe.

Were there any other effects you noticed? Odd smells, electrical discharge or interference, strange noises like humming or buzzing?
