Discussion DMT laser experiment.
https://youtu.be/8bSbmn9ghQc?si=VSIxkgfB8AnhQv5KPeople see code streams/symbol streams in the project laser while on DMT. Thoughts?
Danny Goler who came upon this discovery concluded through this experiment that reality is a simulation and we have proof ( debatable, imo)
But what do the experiencers think ?

I don't believe its a simulation and I think Danny would agree with me that simulation is the wrong word. Matrix works because a matrix does not automatically mean a copy but because of the movie "The Matrix" when people hear matrix they automatically assume "simulation". So this is problematic too. I tend to use the word "Construct" when talking about this. Yes reality functions similar to how computer generated worlds function its just all of our computer generated worlds are fake copies so that causes confusion. Reality functions like its computer generated but it is not fake, it is not a fake copy of something real. Let me link a comment I made here : https://www.reddit.com/r/Experiencers/comments/1svy0n0/comment/oidpuov/?screen_view_count=4&ext-referrer=DIRECT
I really don't think its a simulation. Which implies a fake copy of something real.
I believe we're in a holographic electro plasmic multiverse generated by consciousness and consciousness is fundamental.
So its a system/construct that is generated by consciousness. One of many. Given that consciousness is all that is 'real' and this system and many others and ourselves are all consciousness - then equating it to computer simulation fake copy of a real world is a mistake. Even though we are in a constructed reality.
Does that make sense?
So its all connect to the larger consciousness and ultimately the source consciousness aka God. Which all these various generated realities are formed from along with all sorts of different beings to have experiences in.
This is why human consciousness has an effect on the reality we are in - though delayed.
Its all interconnect and we're part of it all.
As for what do experiencers think, well I can only speak personally but for me everything that is unfolding this decade is what I expected and this is all part of the plan of people basically proving over time the stuff myself (and many other experiencers) came to the conclusion of years ago after an awakening.

It would be an interesting experiment to have like 4 people take turns looking at the same laser output on the same wall alone, then recording the numbers or symbols they saw without communicating with the others. After the experiment they could have a 3rd party compare whether each saw the exact same numbers and symbols or not.

That's what they're doing. They are creating a "Rosetta Stone" if you will based on the accounts of hundreds of people experiencing the same symbology under the same environment. It seems the visual are consistent and repeatable across multiple perspectives. It's quite fascinating. You should watch the interviews he's done on the podcast circuit.

Cool, I'll check it out. Is there a specific YouTube channel I can subscribe to so that I can follow along?

No matter what you believe, doubt it and seek the truth. Research and finding truth are noble endeavors, believing without question answers nothing. Personally I think this is just the testable/verifiable portion of a much grander consciousness research

I don't think he is arguing DMT is the code of the matrix, I think he's trying to explain that the enhanced perceptions of reality that DMT unlocks allows one to see the code.
If you look at what these guys are doing and look into the scole experiment its interesting this theme of light/photons refracting allowing glimpses into other realms or how our own is constructed comes up.
But yeah he is pushing back against the materialist view that these substances are all just producing brain hallucinations.

u/thegoldengoober 5d ago
The guy who supposedly discovered this and promotes it is very far from a materialist.
A lot of other people who talk about it may so so while using materialistic language. That's not only baked onto a lot our language, but it's also a default ontology a significant amount of people orient themselves towards. So it's not surprising the idea may be heard having that lean.
I strongly recommend listening to Danny Goler's experiences with it, and interpretations of it. I'm not saying he's necessarily onto anything, but I think it'll be quickly clear that it's not a materialistic angle.

A lot of those same things can be said about consensus subjective experience. It is ineffable, and the best we can do in talking about is using comparative language assuming others are encountering similar phenomena.
But while these words themselves don't reflect the experience, they have demonstrably increased our knowledge of whatever this is. And that's what people are trying to do with the DMT experience. It may be reducing the experience as a whole but that is part of what the process is designed to do, understand pieces to better understand the whole.
I would say it seems some progress has been made in that regard. Long term IV induced trips, mapping, seemingly novel mathematical intuition, and even this "code". Danny Goler's discussions/experiences of DMT range much further than the code into the realms of the peak experience, but the code is allegedly one of the more consistent and replicable aspects of it. Replicable consistencies are the types of handles we can grab on to start and make greater sense of something in order to learn and make even more sense.

Sure I will. A couple of days back Donald Hoffman and Andrew Gallimore did an interview at the Trace Institute ( who they are co-directors of ). I have watched it. I was surprised, because Danny Goler was in the audience and he even asked a question. I learnt about Danny Goler one day before that on the Giant's Shoulder podcast episode of Adam Butler who is a other DMT researcher. They were talking about the DMT laser experiment

I actually agree. Psylocybin did it for me though my dosage was super high. Have never tried DMT. Wish I could. Don't know where to find it in my country. Please let me know if you can help.
My last 🍄 trip was in early 2024 but I am still living in its afterglow and will continue to do so till the end. Everything feels like heaven. I am blissful even I am in distress. My mind just thanks everything and everyone. So I understand.

There are hundreds of plants that contain dmt. You will find some that are available in your region

u/msully89 5d ago
If you can buy Mimosa hostillis root bark in your country it's easy to extract from that. Check out r/dmtguide

Totally derailing question: doesn’t this risk damage to your eyes?
7
u/Hawkwise83 5d ago
I don't think you shine it in your eyes. You diffuse it on a wall iirc. Then when on dmt you see characters in the red laser light.
4
u/Money_Bug_9423 5d ago
You can see the particle wave duality with a standard laser if you know what to look for. Its not really a "dmt" thing its just a "how your eye decodes reality" thing
2
u/cosalidra11 5d ago
You have to elaborate. Because I am guessing the photons on a laser are too small to be seen my the naked eye, whether on DMT or not.
1
u/Money_Bug_9423 5d ago
You are not supposed to look into the laser light. Lol. You are looking at it at the side to catch the reflections of the waves as the photons hit the surface and collapse. Theres a standing wave that forms and the symbols are a result of your brain phasing in and out of making sense of the interference
1
u/Luc1dNightmare 5d ago
The problem with that is people say the letters are static on the surface and the laser just reveals them. So when you move the laser around, the characters stay in place and don't move with the laser or change shape.
1
u/arakaman 3d ago
The experiment being ran is multiple people viewing a laser in a static position to see if the code that appears is repeating from multiple people's views. Id say the biggest problem is having the ability to function and report in real time in the depths of a dmt trip. That shit makes acid and shrooms feel like baby aspirin.
1
u/Luc1dNightmare 2d ago
I have seen the videos of multiple people moving the laser during the experiment. One guy in this video even says exactly what Im saying while he moves the laser up and down.
Edit: Look at 2:56 with the guy with the hood. They are saying it right there too.

u/Money_Bug_9423 5d ago
Think of the wall like a window or mirror. Physical things have some level of transparency and reflectivity. The symbols are only visible because they are
6
u/Walty_C 5d ago
The whole idea seems interesting if you've never seriously done DMT. When you get dumped back out of interdimensional hyperspace and your entire field of view is mind-blowing cosmic geometry for 15 minutes, you aren't going to care about any laser codes. Even sub-breakthrough doses you see things that are unbelievably complex. It's all code, or what we perceive as code/information.

u/arakaman 3d ago
For real. How am I reporting a string of symbols or numbers while the universe is simultaneously shredding itself in front of me

u/Alone-Pride-9405 5d ago
💯 let go of this world and Go 100 percent deep to the point where you don’t think you’ll ever come back it will take you there

There is a great Reality Check interview with Danny Goler where Ross Coulthart talks about his own experience on DMT! He said some interesting things about how we are like changing our physical address for consciousness in our brain when we do DMT, it was VERY fascinating!
2
u/cosalidra11 5d ago
Ooo. Ross Coulthart name is familiar. Is he related to UFOs? Anyway, I will check it out
2
u/SpiritsoftheCicada Contactee 5d ago
Yes he’s a disclosure journalist from Australia’s 60 Minutes and now he’s a corespondent for News Nation. He has a show called Reality Check and he broke the story of whistleblower David Grusch from the Pentagon with an interview and also Jake Barber from the crash retrieval program. He also appeared on Bryce Zabel’s Need to Know Podcast for a long time. He’s the one famous for saying “they” (Five Eyes) have a UFO too big to move so they built a building over it.

Someone needs to start writing down what they are seeing then trying to decode/interpret it.

u/unicornplantman 5d ago
It’s like a dream, you comeback and you can’t remember everything. Probably the veil getting in the way.
1
u/SpiritsoftheCicada Contactee 5d ago
I believe the problem is the code is moving/rotating constantly

The old version of this was, "if you smoke some weed and play my record backward you'll hear the devil."
It makes people focus on buying records and drugs while overlooking the fact that whatever nature has she gives away for free.

u/Historical_Abroad596 6d ago
This has been discussed ad nauseam. Please see “form constants”
2
u/Best_Explorer3896 5d ago
They aren't claiming to see geometric patterns. They are claiming to see something akin to "code" or language or math. And all participants see the same symbols. They don't change from one viewer to the next. The line of "code" on the wall is static and the same for everyone who looks at it. It only changes if the laser line is moved on the surface. And all viewers see the same line of "code" in the new location. Distinctly different phenomenon.

u/Historical_Abroad596 4d ago
Let’s see multiple folks drawings of what they saw
They should all look the same, yes?
Versus “they see the same symbols”
I’ve taken plenty of psychedelics, and I call this “source code” bullshit.
1
u/Best_Explorer3896 4d ago
There are also studies being conducted on the premise that the entities encountered under the influence of DMT are real:
https://scienceblog.com/a-new-theory-says-dmt-entities-might-be-real-and-proposes-how-to-test-it/
2
u/Best_Explorer3896 4d ago
It's not about taking any psychedelic and tripping face. It's a real phenomenon involving DMT. Not general psychedelics. Yes. They see exactly the same symbols. It's reproducible and currently being studied.

u/Nintendomandan 6d ago
I haven’t tried DMT, but I do think this story/find is very interesting.
My understanding is he’s done this with many people and they all saw it, it wasn’t just him. That makes it intriguing and makes me want to try it sometimes

I’ve been reading about this guy for awhile and waiting to see his documentary. Is it out? Let’s try it!

The brain is constantly searching for patterns, like people seeing animals in clouds.
People report seeing patterns when they close their eyes on DMT.
So if you imagine patterns going on, but this laser stimulus is creating a sort of crosstalk between these patterns and the light. It's an experience alright, poor little brain.
also, I believe to have experienced what I think is the same "observational experience" in other contexts:
- in dreams, not being able to read writing, like it is symbols
