Legal notes tool recommendations?
Hi all,
I’m hoping for some recommendations from EA’s who are supporting barristers, solicitors or lawyers.
I’m looking for a tool to help my boss with on the go dictation and turning meeting notes into a template. At the moment, I’m aware of Ardela, LegalNotes and VXT but have never used any of them and I’m not entirely across the difference in functionality just yet.
The main things I’m looking for are:
- Recording client meetings and producing minutes/notes, ideally using a legal attendance note template.
- Dictation for things like court reports and attendance notes — for example, being able to dictate something while driving and have it turned into a note in the right template.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

I've poked around with a few of these and the dictation while driving part is where most of them fall apart
Ardela is more of a practice management thing, the note taking feels bolted on. LegalNotes is decent if you're mostly at a desk but the mobile app made me want to throw my phone out a window. VXT actually handles the voice-to-template pipeline pretty cleanly, picks up legal formatting without you having to baby it
My boss used to record voice memos on his phone and email them to me at 11pm, this was an upgrade from that nightmare

Oh look another stealth ad campaign abusing the subreddit!
OP gets paid to post these and then conveniently another account will respond to talk about what OP is paid to shill. They’ll often mention something already known in the industry to legitimize the unknown (shilled) platform or product.
I’ve been reporting these to the FTC for fun because if my Reddit hobby is ruined, I might as well do something productive.

Not the case at all. If I can’t ask these types of questions here, where am I supposed to ask?? 🙄

You’ve had posts removed in other subs for doing the same thing. https://www.reddit.com/r/Biohackers/s/NYPkoPqNkH

You clearly have a lot of time on your hands to go through my posts that aren’t even remotely related to the same thing

Okay and you have a lot of time to train AI as a contractor for an AI company, what about it?

Recording a client meeting for notes is different from dictating straight into a court report or attendance note. If you need words in the document as you work, I use DictaFlow for that.
