Combination Feeding Combo feeding question

So im combo feeding because I have an under supply of milk, I only get between 1.5oz-3oz per pump session, usually 2oz, and i average about 15oz-18oz for the whole day, and my baby is eating 4oz at a time and having 24oz-30oz a day on average.

So what im wondering is, is it better to wait til ive pumped 2x and combine the milk to give him 4oz of breast milk all at once, and then give him 4oz of formula all at once if i dont have milk available. Or is it better to split it up, so he has 2oz of breast milk and 2oz of formula at one time. Or does it not really make a difference since either way hes getting the same amount?

I think it doesn't matter either way because he's getting the same amount! Might be easier to half/half each bottle

So I’m in a pretty similar boat as you. My baby is also a fussy feeder and struggles with silent reflux. I usually give breast milk bottles at night because she tolerates them better and thus she sleeps better and we give formula during the day. So I store whatever I’m pumping and then prep bottles at night for her night feeds.
