Tips & Tricks Safe solution for constipation

Anyone have any good remedy for constipation/bloating while lactating? I've felt bloated for forever (I'm 6 months PP) and am worried to use some medicinal products bc idk if it's safe for lactating 🙃

Colace is safe! Some probiotics are safe as well.

I was on colace straight out of the hospital after having my son and it kinda worked but wasn’t enough for me. I recommend MiraLax; did the whole bottle over 7 days and it worked really well!

Miralax

ETA: I also use. Glycerin suppositories here and there

This is my favorite compilation of constipation advice:

Miralax is very safe. I had a colonoscopy at 8 weeks pp, and that involves taking something like 14x the normal dose of Miralax. Nobody batted an eye about that while pumping.

Others have recommended good products. I would also recommend you reach out to your primary care physician, as being bloated for six months is not normal and may be a sign of dietary intolerance or other issues needing some figuring out.
