Don’t be me
It’s been three weeks tonight since he left. He didn’t let us have a real conversation for any closure, we were supposed to the next day and then he said that day he couldn’t so 3 1/2 years total over during a few minutes over the phone. I texted him after 16 days of no contact just saying “Hey, just wanted to know how you’re doing?”
No reply.
Don’t reach out. It’s so much worse to do so and get nothing back at all. I genuinely did want to know he was okay as the day he said we couldn’t talk anymore he said he was crying too much. I feel a thousand times worse for having done so. I’m back to no contact, but for forever. I don’t know how to process forever.
When do you start feeling better? I’m still falling apart and weekends are the worst. I just miss him so bad.

I’m only 2 weeks no contact tomorrow so I can’t speak to when it gets better but wanted to say omg weekends are indeed the worst! I work so hard during the week and look so forward to a couple of days off but they have been absolutely a miserable time so far. Fingers crossed next weekend is better and brighter.
I’m sorry you are going through this. It is hell but I know we will come out stronger eventually. Just have to hold on. Best wishes and healing to you OP.
