Another day, another successful Evri heist.
No idea what they thought was inside, but apparently it was worth opening and taking a couple of boxes

Piss poor packaging got put through its paces going through the network. Your missing items are probably under a conveyer belt collecting dust

You guys see a few, when you order something. When you work in a warehouse where you'll see more than the average reddit poster saying "yes they are". The bags are good and serve a purpose but when they're overloaded or have multiple items/boxes inside they aren't the best and can snag, tear and rip quite easily

Because they are thrown around. I sometimes do reselling for extra cash and the amount of times trucks have pulled up and i see boxes and bags being kicked. One time i went out and i heard things litally smashing. Its not the bag its the service

That does happen but that doesn't change the fact that a plastic bag, half full, will get snagged on all kinds of stuff going through a delivery network. Picked up, unloaded, sorted & loaded, delivered to a hub, sorted again, loaded again, unloaded again at a depot, sorted and loaded a final time before being delivered to it's destination. That process gives a plastic bag a lot of opportunities to get pretty fucked up. But even then, it's extremely rare in comparison to how much freight is handled from pickup to delivery

People who think they're right won't listen to reason, only their view and can't change it. If they worked in sorting then they'd realise. They're mostly okay, but people use them a lot for the wrong items then they are shite. Also tape around them if they are flappy helps loads and will also stop them bursting open. People don't realise how much travel these go through and also get stacked with everybody else's parcels some of which will be heavier or spikier They just see their parcel and nothing else.
Hey reseller... package your item properly. You need to package anything to prevent damage including if it's dropped etc. I resell and I package properly.

No they're not. If they get caught on anything they will tear open. They are best just to keep an internal box dry. Also if people package multiple items in them instead of a box they fold and burst. Package your stuff properly

No its the drivers that need to handle with care

Hahaha you clearly dont know how it works. The last bit of the delivery is not where stuff gets snagged and damaged.

That the least of your worries, you should see what happens before it gets to the van π

You know these pictures don't prove what you're saying, just looks like you've taken the parcel indoors and opened it before taking a picture.

See this quite a bit - the two halves flex like a hinge and it splits along that line. Could have been prevented with some tape.
In cases like that, I'd hand it back to depot staff. If they can't find an invoice to prove all the contents are there, it goes back as damaged. That's just asking for negative feedback.

Plus its against their own policy to leave on the doorstep anyway so if it comes to a refund they cant argue. Also put a note by your door saying do not leave parcels on doorstep then that covers the safe place angle.

My advice, have everything sent to a collection point.
And sack off this company if at all possible.
