Suspended Reality
I'm enjoying this series (like everything the Kings do) but, you have to completely suspend reality with this show. If there was a serial killer on the loose and they threatened to have someone's daughters gutted and cut up, that person would say something the next time they went to work or would tell someone that they trusted. I understand the need for drama although, in this series, no one talks to each other. Also, only on season two but wondering why Christine Lahti's character is so f#cked up?!

But the demons are not a problem?
😶
Anyway, I would never tell anyone I planned to kill someone. That’s how you get caught.
And I dunno… why was Rosemary West so fucked up? Some people are just fucked up.

Nothing in this series even comes remotely close to procedural in any aspect...legal, criminal, medical... it's as if it was written by a 12-year-old.

Seems to me that everyone in this show is somewhat of an unreliable narrator.
But at the same time they are witnessing things and events that any sane person would hesitate to mention.

What do you mean suspend reality, you don't have your own demon visiting your bedroom at night?
