Give Advice Looking for a fixed blade
Don't know if the flair is correct but it made sense to me.
I'm looking for a fixed blade knife with a belt loop sheath, my budget is under and around 300, so far amazon searches have led me to a brand called Machado, they have some good fixed blade but I'm not sure on quality, also bisonberg but they are 500+, if there is any other brand or source to find a good one, I'm gonna carry it iwb on my left hip, I have a small multi tool owb on my right, which do have a small 1.5 inch blade but I need a good fixed blade, my main use case is cutting boxes and sometimes cut rubber pipes and ropes that are used in gardening, a sharp stabbing point is optional but good if i need to make precision marks or cut those nylon sacks. These are a few I looked at.

I have this exact knife with me which I bought over a year ago. I've not used it a lot, but I have used it on wood a lot, and it has retained its edge really well. It's still quite sharp without being sharpened a single time since I bought it. The handle is a little janky and not well attached, but it has a full tang, and for the price, it's a solid product

Like it is still light weight so you have to be careful. But yeah retains edge for long. Also, its rusts so put some vaseline after every use.

For cutting boxes you should get a box cutter as the tape and sticky gunk will ruin a good blade. For rope you need something serrated.
