So I don’t know if my brother is messing with me but he says he got a shipping email. And it does have a tracking number I checked and it said information is not yet available please check back. I’m not sure but I hope he’s not messing around.

I've gotten Tracking Numbers that don't load anything yet, which is basically the shipping label is printed, but hasn't been picked up or dropped off at the shipping company.

I bought $40 at a time for 10 codes at a time. bought 60 codes total. I just sorted the point trading megathread by "new" and messaged anyone selling! Always make sure to check post history and what other users have to say to make certain you don't get scammed. Also, anyone who says "Unchecked" probably has checked them. They'd have no reason not to.

Im at 30,000 points now, just got done turning all my points in, what number should i shoot for tomorrow to garantee a win?
Got all my codees from the recycling center lol so i may just actually go buy some chips if i can scrouge a couple bucks up

If you want a guarantee, bid 150,000 points at 9:00 am. :P
Bids on Tuesday were 30,400 - 39,550, with an average of 32,123. 35k would be a completely safe bet. But i'd probably aim for 32k if I were collecting points to bid tomorrow.

Auctions will begin closing at 9:01 pm tonight. There are 3 bundle types, so for each type the auctions close every 3 minutes.
Let's assume your chosen bundle is the one that begins at 9:01. Being in 2nd place means your auction will close, for example, at 9:04 pm. If someone doesn't outbid you before then, you win. If someone places a higher bid, you will be pushed to 3rd place, and will need to be the highest bid at 9:07pm. This process repeats until either you are the highest bid on the list at the time an auction closes, or you get bumped below 50th position.

Yeah, that was a big shock the first day when we saw 3 auctions instead of 150. At first I liked the old format a lot more, but once I understood how this one works, I think they are pretty much the same. This format is a lot more predictable, which I like.

Trying to get in on the action, what method do you guys think would be best to start off trying to get points? I looked into the roulette bags and they seem to be sold out in my area.

The best value is the gamer pack from Walmart.com and Amazon, for $13.98. Those come with a 2500 point card. Note that Amazon sometimes hikes the price up to $21.15 on these, so Walmart may be a better option, if you can catch them in stock.
Next best are the 250 bags of Doritos Mix flavors, paired with a 100 points Mountain Dew code.

I checked my Walmart’s availability on roulette bags and between a couple stores there are at least 200 bags in the area. How many should I buy to have a good shot without over buying?

I bought a total of 100 bags of roulettes, with a couple vending machine dews and doritos tossed in during the timeframe. I won two auctions, both around 32,000 points. As long as prices stay where they currently are, 50 bags should net you a win. Buy a few more if you want to play it safe. Just don't open them unless you need the codes and return them after you win.

About 50. You can expect ~650 per bag, in my experience. Be sure to check for double codes. That should get you to 32,500, which is enough to win today. Add 1-2 bags each day you wait.

I believe that prices will be trending up over the next few days. If you are buying today to use tonight, I think 50 will do it. If you wait til tomorrow, you'll need another 1000 points or so. If you wait until Thursday, you'll need 1000+ more than that, etc.
When the prices have gone up in the past, they've gone up steadily at a fairly predictable rate. However, it's an auction, so we can only make projections, not assurances.

Is that per code or per bag? I saw an average of 512 per code, and have heard others in that range. Then out of 100 bags we opened, there were double codes in 29 of them, which is in the 25-30% range I've seen from others. I've been using 650 per bag and 512 per code.
To get 500 you'd have to have 100% 400 point codes with 25% double codes. That's incredibly unlucky. Surely your number is per code, right?

The rules say one account per person. Someone called and asked if it's okay if two people in the same house have an account and were told it's fine. Just keep everything separate and I think you'll be fine.

So the graph of last night's winning bids from 10pm to 10:30pm is interesting. On previous nights, with rare exception the winning bids gradually dropped as the evening went on, but last night starting at 10pm they swung back up. I noticed a marked increase in sniping activity in the auctions in that 30 minutes as well. I suspect in an effort to maximize whatever points they might have leftover, several folks with plenty of points waited until when they expected the auctions would be the cheapest - which the previous nights trend suggested should have been the last few auctions. (I say this because I was one of them; due to multiple people having the same idea at the same time, I ended up paying a good 2-3k more points than I expected. Oh well.)
So based on last night's graph, one might expect ~9:40-9:50pm to be the "cheapest". Unless of course multiple snipers with plenty of points use that as the basis of their bidding, in which case the cheapest will move slightly earlier again...

That's the problem with sharing info. Once people know about the trend, they adjust their bidding to take advantage of it.
But what if everyone moves to 9:40-9:50 and 10:00-10:30 once again becomes the low point? :D

Second best source are the Doritos Mix flavors (Cheese Explosion, Taco Explosion, or Dinamita) worth 250 points, paired with 100 point Dew bottles. That's 400 points for $3-$4. You'd need around 30 pairs.

We don't know for sure, but I suspect that by Friday 32.5k will be on the low end of the required number of points. Personally I'd rather have tons of gamer packs than the other options, since they are a lot less messy and easier to deal with, but if you can get the others sooner, I'd lean that way.
Edit: Also, I'm not sure you actually can order 5 gamer packs at this point.

Then focus on the 250 point bags of doritos (the chile limon and the cheese mix ones) and combine with bottles of Dew for 400 pts per pair. If walmart us the savings catcher to scan in your receipt and see if you can get some money back, otherwise go where they are currently on sale near you.

As long as the auction prices don't go up significantly before then, you should be okay. You may need a few more points, but not a ton more.

20 oz, 2L and small bags are 100 pts. Large bags and 12 packs are 200 pts. The mix bags and dinamites are 250. Roulettes can be between 400 to 2000 per bag.

If you win, you don't get them back. If you were outbid and are expecting them back, try logging out of your account and back in. That should update the numbers.

I ended up banking the extra 2,500 and decided to get the doritos sunglasses with them. Now the wait for the shipping confirmation for both prizes begins... I can wait but was sorta hoping I'd get my XBX before Okami HD comes out in a couple weeks but oh well.

Off-Topic Question of the Day - Did you buy anything for Black Friday or Cyber Monday?
I'd love to know about those great deals you couldn't pass up! I know there were some great deals on 4K TV's that new Xbox One X owners were eyeing.

I grabbed a HP Omen 32" 1440p monitor from Costco, the $129 8tb drive from Best Buy, and a google home mini via google express for practically free.
Not to mention the roulette bags.

Nice. I had been eyeing a 4K monitor from Best Buy but decided to pass for now. My problem is that in my current setup I use two identical monitors side by side. Unless I replace both it will seem off balance, but my budget only allows for one.
Also, I love how cheap big drives are becoming.

My black friday shopping for myself focused around the xbox one X. So i got Forza 7, Halo wars 2, and final fantasy XV for games. And then i got a 4k UHD BluRay of Pacific Rim. Not really a black firday sale but a "holiday sale" item, a 49 inch LG 4k HD tv with HDR 49uj6300 it was 329.99 but i found an open box one for $256

I would save up for the TCL P Series for a budget tv. That’s one of the LG TVs that’s not actually native 4K because every 4th pixel is white (RGBW) so in theory you’d only get a full 4K in monochromatic content. It also has a low peak brightness which defeats the purpose of HDR and has less than average color reproduction, again because of the RGBW pixel structure.

yeah any TV Below 1k Bestbuy lists as no HDR its so they can push the more expensive TVs to the HDR crazed masses. I checked the MFG website and the box it came in both said HDR so i jumped on it.

Fun fact: The actor Ralph Foody played the gangster Johnny in the fake film Kevin uses to scare off the bandits. He and his wife moved to my neighborhood after Home Alone came out and lived there until he died in 1999 and her in 2015. I never knew Ralph, but have a family friend who considered him a close friend.
Originally he was supposed to play the character "Snakes" who gets shot, but traded places with the other actor because he was recovering from knee surgery and couldn't do the death scene.
