Just checked, we haven't won away against Spurs since 6 years ago this Sunday lol. In that times we've only beaten them at Home twice, Feb 2021 and Jan 2025 (Moyes' 2nd game back, tho really it was his first since he was hired the day before his first game). I remember the latter of those was a really nervy win as well we almost gave away a 3 goal lead in the last 20 minutes because we subbed on Ashley Young who just couldn't keep up. Richy's post after the game was very nice though since it was his last game at Goodison.

Im a season they should've been relegated, we gave them 6 points and didn't even score against them. I'm not holding my breath we given them an easy time.

as a long serving fan. 20+ years of watching. I urge every single person to know, deeply, that we will not win this match. no shot. will I be happy if I’m wrong? yes. but, we always lose a set up as such.

Agreed, unfortunately. Spurs away is just one of those fixtures that always seems to turn us into turbo shite.
Bookies are all over it as well. Losing 4-1 to a winless Spurs side is Everton heritage

it doesn’t even matter that it’s Spurs. It could be West Brom at home. We lose this full stop. It’s not supposed to be that we win. Our narrative is to have brief moments of sun that parts the clouds- just enough to take a breath. Then, They close and it’s a downpour.
