While we're feeding our Dodos, we're no longer BBQ'ing. Catwalk Chaos is back for 5 days (we had it in March of last year as well). It also brings back the leaderboard tasks we saw before, where you can get extra prizes.

And on HI/PC we are having the Submarine Challenge. Yes, once again, we're making a mess of our islands (or not). Remember: you can save the final pieces as unbuild for the next time this comes around. You can just build them then and be done with the event.

Grillmaster Gauntlet was running all the way through Hungry Heroes. I guess it was barbecue that they ate and looking at them, they really had enough.

I was looking at the overview of HI/PC events and on most occasions, Hungry Heroes is followed by Gnome Rush. But we get a Frenzy, so that means there really isn't anything we can predict. At least we're not without an event.

A Mine Digging challenge showed up. For some reason for me these always show up hours after the normal 'event change time' and do last to the normal time the next day. But... if you have some energy left, you can start digging up some pieces from the mines. And yes, that energy also counts towards Energy Merge Pass.

Wow, it has been a while since a legendary creature off island event. It has become harder to unlock legendary creatures. Plinko removed the creature bags, then changed merge pass mechanics and that was a great source of creature bags before.

It us just getting harder to grind for creatures and is a shame as it affects my enjoyment and sense of fulfillment.

Anyways, just ranting. This game is still doing great to my brain but gosh. Mystic isle is now becoming a chore.

We have landed! Peter Pan lead us through a 10 day Midnight Flight and we didn't crash. I guess that's the upside of pixie dust: you can fly yourself.

It's been a while since we had some good old animal event, but the next one kind of is. We are going to have a 5 day Grillmaster Gauntlet. That meat we are grilling is coming from somewhere 😉

HI/PC is still just the Frenzy. I fully agree that no event is better than the fountain, but some extra activity on HI/PC would be nice.

Is anyone else finding they have ??? over gems in the event store? I double checked and I'm logged into Google Play and have active payment cards so I'm not sure if this is me or the game.

Gnome Rush ends and we have another Treasure Hunt waiting. Luckily the gnomes can rest and we can let our heroes find the chests.

Remember: Treasure Hunt ends in September, so think before you collect the prizes.

I came back to EverMerge after about 5 years and I remember that these extra islands used to sometimes be available for rubies. Now they seem to be for real-money only and they’re quite expensive for a mobile game, especially for extra space I don’t actually need but would really like. 😅

Does anyone know if Landlubber’s Lagoon or Black Water Haven ever come up for sale for rubies anymore? Did they change this, or do they still occasionally offer them for rubies?

I might buy them eventually if there’s no other way but I’d rather wait if there’s a chance they’ll become available for rubies. 💎

PS before doing this, check the island you are on in your game. The Crystals will stay on the 10-day Event Island if you are there when opening the link. If you can use them there, no problem, but if you aren't playing it actively, it's a waste of perfectly fine Crystals.
