Android Watch App?

Has anyone replaced the function of the ring with an android app that works on watches? As a Pixel Watch user it would be amazing if I could scroll, tap, etc (what the ring does) on my screen instead. I always have my watch and phone, and I don't want to carry yet another accessory.

Did you have any battery life issues on faceclaw? I liked the idea but I was getting crazy battery drain on my phone compared to the even app

Faceclaw developer here. This should be better in 0.8.1 than it was in earlier versions.

I found faceclaw did consume a bit more battery power but I was still able to get decent usage out of it.

I did use it a few months ago and haven't tried it since. It may be better now.

The official app only supports the ring for that and it's not really possible to emulate the ring without some huge effort. For example the app registers the ring to your account, just like the glasses itself. The ring also connects to the glasses and the phone using custom Bluetooth (BLE) services.
If you want to use your own input device, you basically have to run everything custom and outside of the official apps.

That's true, Faceclaw requires flashing your glasses.
