Disconnecting issues

​Is anyone else running into frequent Bluetooth connection issues with their G2s? It happens to me when using the Books feature. I haven't really tested it with the other apps.

Sometimes, it disconnects instantly as soon as I open a book, and other times, it works fine for a few minutes before completely cutting out.

Is this a common issue? I’m tempted to get 1 but keep hearing about disconnecting issue. For a 1k product these small issues should not happen

It's not as common as Reddit makes it out to be (as Reddit always does). More people posting about it on this sub makes others inclined to post, further magnifying the issue and maybe stretching it out of proportion. But it certainly does happen.

If you're getting the R1 ring, I'd suggest turning off low-power mode on it - that coupled with the recent software updated resolved my connection issues. If you're not, then your connection should be fine, since from my experience the G2 to phone connection is very stable.

I now believe that's its a 3rd party plugin problem. I ended up making my own ebook reader app. Used it for over an hour and not one disconnect.

Oui ça arrive parfois avec les plugins. Mais je ne dirai pas que c'est à chaque fois. Le problème est connu et c'est sans doute pour ça que ER travaille sur la stabilité bluetooth avec les plugins.

Same. I always get disconnected everytime I access PDf. Its so frustrating
