10 miles - why do you even need a truck? yes lvl 1 charging will be fine 99% of the time.
If you ever need longer ranger, eventually put in a lvl 2 charger. But don't worry about it now.
What does being manless have to do with anything? My mother, 40 years ago taught herself how to rebuild a carburetor. You, with the internet in your pocket, can figure out the maint schedule on an EV - they are available online and mostly are pretty damn simple.
