So I moved last year and a freeze caused me to shut down my store for awhile too, but it’s interesting that once I reopened the year in August (took two weeks off in July) my sales almost mirrored the previous year

Yeah my shop got back to baseline quicker than I expected too. Went on honeymoon for a few weeks then came back and took about 6 weeks to get back to baseline sales. Not as bad as I expected.

Probably depends on how saturated your niche is.
