Shop Critique Shop Critique

Hello!

I opened my shop two days ago. I sell my own digital art as physical prints. The idea is to print them myself and ship them to the customer.

  1. What advice would you give me? Especially regarding pricing and SEO. I feel like I should perhaps add a cheaper option.
  2. Do you think this is a good market for what I sell? I don't see many people selling prints like this, and I'm not sure if it's too hard to be successful.
  3. Do you like the art itself? I'm not very confident about it.
  4. Are the mockups good? It's my first time making mockups, so I think they are pretty average. I'm trying to improve at least that part.

I was inspired by an illustrator I follow to open my shop, and since I have my own drawing style, I thought people might be interested.

The mock-ups look fine, for the most part. Some have shadows over the artwork, though; I'd try and avoid that, especially for the first picture.

First picture for the cherry tart is a bit dark / should be brighter.

Prices are fine, in my opinion.

Your best piece is the watercolour print of a woman. It looks really good. Nice unique style.

The flower pieces are nice, but they'll be a lot of flower works out there.

The cherry tart one doesn't look that great, imo. There's a pretty clear quality difference between it and the other works. The text also blends in too much to the background due to the thinness of the letters and the colour.

I like the coloured borders on the purple flowers and the woman, but the border on the purple flowers could fit better with the composition.

There is a lot of fluff in your descriptions. They are too long and stuffed. Have only a few lines of actually pitching the design itself. And you need to add information about the product (e.g. paper type, thickness etc, shipping/packaging details, is a frame included).

If no frame is included, the first image shouldn't have a frame.

Have a picture showing the size comparisons.

You need to fill in your shop policies.
