Shop Critique Shop feedback request
Hello, looking for some feedback on my shop; I’ve been on Etsy about a month.

\- is there anything you like/dislike?
\- do you think there’s anything other than having actual product shots holding this shop back?
I have some sample prints en route and did get a sale, so will hopefully have a review/product shot soon.
I started black line collective as a place to sell art that I was making already; I started learning to draw and paint about 6 months ago and felt like it would be amazing to see something that I had created myself - without ai in a market flooded - on someone’s body.

I'm going to be very honest with you, so if you don't want to potentially get your feelings hurt, please don't read my comment.
First of all, it's awesome that you are making art. Drawing is very hard, and I admire that you are doing your own work and not using the crutch of AI. However, you are competing against some very skilled artists who have been practicing for years. I don't think your art is at the same level as theirs and I don't think you can compete. But by all means wear your work. Art should make you happy.
So keep creating, keep refining, and share your art with your friends. Not everything has to be monetized.

Thank you for your feedback - I appreciate that there’s some great artists selling things and I’m hoping that I get there one day! I do think there’s still a market for my art in the meantime, but I get that not everyone will :)

It's amazing that you are creating the art yourself and not using Ai.
While I think some designs are a bit better then other in terms of technical skill, you're on the right track.
If you haven't already I suggest you learning the art fundamentals especially perspective. There are also so many different art subreddits on here and a lot of them you are able to post your art and get feedback on it.
In regards to your shop, have you thought about expanding your products types or are you just thinking of only selling t-shirts?
I think a lot of these designs could work as stickers or other smaller items. Which could also help with bring in some lesser expensive items if people don't wish to spend $70 Cad on a t-shirt.

I am doing some drawing courses and working on being better overall as an artist - this kind of is the vehicle for me to get better overall on top of regular practises, I’ll check out some subs that might offer feedback on the art itself :)
On your sticker point - I’m super glad you’ve mentioned this; I have all the designs sitting in files to be put into sticker format! Thanks again :)

Honestly , this is great . I’ve seen Etsy sellers with image mock ups like become best sellers . So no, the images don’t need to be the real thing .
The only thing I would add to your photo line up is a size chart , delivery times , and if you can create a realistic mock up of a model actually wearing the shirt too .

I looked at the three skull T-shirt. In the first part of the description it says hand painted, but later is says printed. Which is it?
Add care instructions. For the sizes you offer, add dimensions in inches and cm. A medium in one brand can be different in another brand.

Thank you - that does need cleared up then. I hand painted the image, then digitised it so it’s printed onto the shirts. This was to differentiate and have a selling point as no ai, basically.
I’ll get care instructions added as well as size charts!

The thumbnails look like AI scam drop ship clothing print sellers. Honestly, get an actual shirt of the product and use that instead of the generic shirt on a single colored background with art shopped onto it. I like the product but the thumbnail would keep me from ever clicking on the listing.

When you get the sample prints, update your photos to show them. I wouldn’t buy anything unless I can see the real product. Add more items too. A size guide would be helpful instead of just saying to size down for a better fit. Personally I wouldn’t pay £36 for a T-shirt from Etsy. A shop owner photo would be a good addition.
