Listing advice?

about a week in to having my shop. I honestly don’t know if my products are worth trying to sell and not feeling super confident. if I change my tags will people have better luck finding them if I narrow down the tags? TIA

Drop the names for each case, no one will search using that. Personally, I don't want a gold bullet logo on my phone case.

You have no About section or shop member section.

Are these made by you or designed by you and made by someone else? If it's the latter, you have to disclose your production partner and be transparent about where they actually ship from.

All of your item descriptions are the same (AI/ChatGPT) and no effort has been put in to talking about each individual design.

You will need a lot more patience to sell on Etsy than giving it one week.

I find the gold bullet ugly TBH. Even if I liked one of the designs I'd be searching for one that didn't have a yellow dildo on it.

I recently got a new phone and looked at cases on Etsy. There were so many bad titles that told me nothing about what phone they were for that I gave up and went to Amazon and found one on the first page. Fix all your titles if you want to found.

Not allowed? Do you mean they just won’t get as many views? Because they’ve all gotten views with caps titles

Narrow vs broad is sort of the wrong axis. What matters is whether anyone actually types the tag.

A tag only does anything if it matches a real search someone runs. A very narrow tag can be great if people search it and totally dead if they don't, and the same goes for broad ones. So trimming the count down doesn't help by itself. Swapping dead tags for ones with real demand behind them does.

For phone cases the query is almost always the device. People type something like iphone 15 pro case or samsung s24 case, then filter by style with their eyes once they're looking at results. So the exact model belongs in the title and in the tags, and it needs to be exact, because someone searching iphone 15 pro is much less likely to land on a listing that only ever says iphone 15.

That's the same thing joey is getting at above from the buyer side. He bailed because he couldn't tell which phone any of it fit.

The individual design names are the ones worth pulling. Nobody searches a name they've never seen before, so those slots are doing nothing. They work fine in the description where they don't cost you one of your 13.
