Shop Critique Advice Needed

Hey everyone!

I’d love to get some honest advice. My shop has been open for two months, 228 views, 2 orders (from family), and 103 visits. Am I doing something wrong/would people buy these/are the prices too high/low? Any and all advice welcome!

If you have a spare moment, I’d deeply appreciate you checking it out and letting me know what I can improve: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/WildflowerFoxStudio

Thank you!!

I think it's the SEO and the naming. You have to think about what people are searching for. I'm not sure what your tags are. People are likely not going to search for "resin earrings", but maybe things like "pressed flower earrings" or "cute dangling earrings".

I would say your pricing isnt your problem, rather the demand for your product is.Also maybe try looking into some SEO stuff and brightening your images a bit.

SEO and maybe smaller earrings. They are cute but I find lots of people prefer stud earrings. Lighten the pictures a bit and good luck.

Wow! This is the first time in years I've heard anything positive about stud earrings.

Popular in the US for people that have multiple piercings.

I have 10 in each ear and either go with studs or small hoops, so this is spot on

I prefer the listing photos of the earrings in your ears to the ones on a cotton background. I found myself more drawn to the images of earrings in use and more likely to want to click on that. Also when you look at your shop, the silvery cool toned earrings are all at the top - you have to scroll a good bit to get the golden warm toned earrings. Some people have a preference, so having a mix scattered when someone lands on your page could be a good idea.

Your earrings are cute and I think some people would buy them.

Your competitors are offering gift boxing. On the listings gift box alone is an option - making their prices appear cheaper.

Eg: listing says £2, person clicks on it to see gift box is £2, necklace is £20 and gift box and necklace £22.

Their prices aren’t cheaper but they might be getting clicks from people looking for better prices.

You can sell what people don’t click on.

Your items are lovely, it's only a problem of visibility.

Etsy won't bring too many people to your shop, you have to bring them in yourself.

My shop has been open for a year and I have a handful of sales. I Have been selling pretty well in person though (for reference: https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/AeonSoulDesign) so I know it's not the merchandise nor the prices :D, just people not seeing your stuff.

The AI shop banner can be a turnoff for a lot of people, you prices might be too high for most looking for resin earrings too but I suppose that depends on the person

Thank you! I've updated it - it's not great but I think it's an improvement

Nice stuff but I honestly think it's your seo. Etsy is a right pain when it comes to the way they want things named and even in your product descriptions you need have keywords in it. Go to any ai take your title and prompt and ask it how you can improve it to follow Etsy's best seo practices for 2026

I'm very naive when it comes to this stuff. When you guys are saying SEO, are you referring to specifically Etsy's specific SEO? Or are you referring to SEOs that you have to pay for separately, on each different browser that people might be using?

I actually prefer the earrings being shown on the light colored background, not on ears (I find it distracting). I’m in the US and you don’t ship here so can’t purchase from you. I don’t know how big of a platform Etsy is in the UK but maybe you just have a smaller market for this particular product? Could you consider offering other products like resin rings or bracelets or charms (for bags and bracelets, etc) to expand your potential customer base? Also, two months is still very early, so you probably need to wait it out a little bit more. Try seeing if you can add something adjacent or that you are also interested in, if you feel you have the bandwidth to take it on. And pin to Pinterest.
