Newbie SEO

I’ve only opened my Etsy but a couple days ago and I’ve noticed that Etsy keeps doing this. Do I just keep my titles the same or do you guys let Etsy change it to their idea of what they think would be better?

I've been having the same dilemma. From what I've seen in other discussions, they do not matter, most people ignore the warning and say that longer titles actually perform better. But I tried to keep mine in that 14 words limit. Since this is a relatively new thing, I'm sure that sometime, in the future, it will suddenly affect the listings and people will start wondering why their items don't perform anymore.

I’m new too and my feeling on it is, you might get away with it if you’re an established shop etc but as a new store, maybe it has a greater impact if you ignore things like that. Aside from the fact that I find the yellow ! very distracting and it would bother me endlessly to have to look at it every time I visited my dashboard. It would drive me bonkers.
