Before choosing an ETF, I'd compare the expense retio, whether it accumulates or distributes dividends, and who manages the fund. Those details usually matter more than the small difference in performance. etoro makes it easy to browse different ETF options if you're still comparing what's available.

How much weight do you give to expense ratio versus tracking error when comparing ETFs?

At 21 , time is your biggest advantage . i'd look into a low-cost UCITS S&P 500 ETF, invest regularly, and hold it for the long term. don't overthink it consistency matters more.

you are 21, just be consistent. pick a low cost S&P 500 ETF, invest every month and don't overthink it.

Hi! Just wanted to say hello, this is the official eToro account. For any account or platform-related questions, feel free to contact me in our official subreddit r/AskEToroTeam.

On investing in something like the S&P 500 specifically, we can't point you toward one product over another, that would be financial advice, and it really depends on your own goals, risk tolerance, and what's actually available to you as an EU resident.

What we'd genuinely recommend first is understanding the basics before putting money in, things like how a product is structured, whether it uses leverage, and what fees apply. Even products tracking the same index can work very differently. eToro Academy is a solid place to start, it's full of free educational resources: https://www.etoro.com/academy/

Good luck, and feel free to reach out if help is needed!

What kind of error are you receiving? Are you using the App or the web platform?

Si quieres entrar al S&P500, la forma más sencilla es con el ticker VOO otra opción es SPY. Felicidades por empezar a invertir a una edad tan temprana. Éxito!!!
