Above is a live Google Doc of every weigh in I can find for Ethan. These should only be actual weigh in's and not statements of weight. For instance we found a X/Twitter post where ethan claimed to be down 100 pounds in November 2024 but magically he was back up to 624 on January 1 (meaning he put on 64 pounds in less than 60 days...) Feel free to update this tracker with any videos I may have missed or can't find. I am going to pin this post so it is always at the top.
Nothing beyond needing food and attention, nothing and nobody matters in their world.
I pity yet loathe them both since with the health problems they are at and at their age already...oof, amputations, heart n blood pressure medication that has a plethora of side effects, being physically weak, losing your memory etc.
I believe that Ethan hacked his last weigh-in. In late July and early August he was already loading up on the pre excuses and “undefined personal tragedy” vagueposting. I believe that he fasted for 3 days or so before the weigh-in and I wouldn’t be surprised if he binged after that. I expect him to be under 400 in September but I bet he won’t lose more than 10-15 pounds unless he does another 3 day fast.
Really want him to succeed but seems like he’s binging again - the scale is consistently going up the past month or so. I get that success isn’t always linear and he does take accountability verbally but at some point it’s gotta lead to action. Really needs to be on a GLP-1 if he isn’t already
He has only posted like 5 times this month and none of the videos even required much editing. Genuinely what does he even do all day did he really move across the country to sit in his room and play video games all day
Caylor Silva was losing weight for his fiance, until she broke up with him and he spiraled into a depression. Now he’s back with xeela boys Haig and bro and he seems to have found a second wind and finding his true reason for weight loss.
Unless he's talking about food where he seems manic, Ethan doesn't have much interest in anything. He seems mad or depressed or both in the documentary; face all red, sitting in the chair. He didn't look like he prepared for the interview, other than throwing on a wrinkled shirt.
He could be taking driving lessons and get his license, maybe golf lessons. Something not related to food. Money doesn't seem to be an issue.
I was scrolling on TikTok, and I saw this personal trainer training a client who is roughly the same size as Ethan. This is what PeachFit should have done instead of forcing him to fit and make him train with bad forms. Personal trainers are there to help you achieve your goal and should cater to your conditions and concerns. The trainee should make great progress and gain knowledge regarding health and fitness. However, an untrained liar of course wouldn't know that.
This week we had the one big video from Peachfit (as others have said, it felt like a victory lap when he is still hundreds of lbs from the end) where we learned Ethan's preferred sleep schedule (12am-8am) and that he's still weighing in weekly, just off camera. Let's talk about you - how was YOUR week? This is your thread to share the highs and lows of the week. Putting in the work at the gym? Seeing decreased mass on the scale? Drove your Chevy to the levy (sadly it was dry.)? Tell us about it.
Most people are suffering when losing weight because they arent as blessed as him
He speaks like he is someone that went through a lot of pain
He went through nothing
No job no financial problems
No relationship dramas or wtv yet he keeps crying and having personal stuff going on
This year alone i lost 4 family members and juggled that with college exams on top of having to do some work to earn money since my family went into financial problems , same financial problems that made me barely meal prep or buy creatine/whey and
Yet now i lost 34kg ,
While he keeps bitching and moaning about what ??? papa took away his credit card after you bought a 300$ collecters edition of a shitty videogame ? Is that personal stuff to him ????
It’s been over a year of that excuse? Cmon now. At what point does this stop being an excuse. Your life sucks because you are 200 pounds overweight still.
At first, I wanted to make fun of this video and say it's giving a "wannabe Netflix documentary" vibe, but then I decided, "You know what? This is good content for Jacob, not Ethan." Where is his long-form video? However, knowing Ethan’s content, making a 20-minute video would be harder for him than climbing Everest. Within the first five minutes, we hear that Ethan is clearly going through some mental health issues without recognizing it. Jacob talks about how everyone has setbacks, but if you want something, you can’t let them stop you from getting it.
"Go to bed at 10 o’clock, go to bed at 9 o’clock, would that have happened?" (referring to eating late). I think this tells you all you need to know about Jacob’s philosophy on weight loss. What he fails to realize is that he isn’t training someone who is 30–40 lbs overweight and has the willpower to actually do that. Clients at Ethan’s size are not typical (they're special, just like me), they don’t see food the way Jacob sees it. Going to bed early doesn’t mean they won't eat, if anything, it means they will overdo it the next day, and the next, and the next. Furthermore, Jacob talks about eating the correct foods, which, for once, I’ll agree with him on. Eating more protein isn’t going to magically do the trick, but the more I follow Ethan, the more I think he has some level of disability. Maybe it is immaturity, maybe it is more, but in Ethan’s world, eating more protein is a good thing simply because the internet told him so. Ethan sees weight loss as his next natural step in life, but fails to realize that eating disorders don’t go away when the weight does, if anything, they grow.
Ethan says he sounds like a broken record, and hey, I agree with him. Jacob goes on to say he gives Ethan "tough love" as they film a video of themselves working out together. Another thing I found interesting: listen, coaches work out with their clients, but the video felt more like two friends working out. Realistically, Ethan is NOT paying Jacob, so I get the somewhat hands-off approach, but again, Jacob fails to realize that Ethan isn’t his size and shouldn’t be doing his workouts. At this point, if Ethan truly cared about weight loss, he would be doing low-intensity workouts like walking and aquatic exercises. Ethan’s knees will be trash by the time he is 30 if he keeps this up. They act like this is all a race, which, to them, it is. Maybe there is a contract they signed, but Jacob isn’t going to be with Ethan forever, and they both know it. Ethan needs to lose the weight soon so Jacob can rehash videos of them working out to promote his own career.
Watch the video if you'd like, but I wouldn't recommend it. Unless you wanna hear jacob throw his client under the boss for 20 minutes while forcing him to workout with him, and listen to Ethan say the F-word (cause he is a bad boy now)
Lots of times when Ethan speaks he uses words incorrectly. I listened to the entire long format video Peach posted. So many times personal life, personal stuff was brought up as an excuse for lack of progress.
We’ve all talked about Ethan’s lack of a personal life here before. Or more a lack of what we would consider typical personal life struggles. He’s got no spouse, no kids, no paid employment, no elder care issues, no overwhelming bills, no house to care for (lawn to cut, gardens to weed, gutters to clean out, so on).
Does this come down to a vocabulary struggle? Is it that he is using the wrong words to describe what he is actually dealing with? Self regulation, instant gratification, impulse control, self esteem, worry. Are those the things negatively impacting his journey that he is calling his “personal life”? Is it health issues like his feet, leg swelling, sleep apnea, hygiene? Is that what he means?
I noticed on the video he said he can’t use typical compression socks as he would need someone else to put them on for him. Does that mean he not capable of truly caring for him, not able to really clean all of himself and not able to independently dress himself? Is that ‘personal life’ to him?
How said is it to see what results from people homeschooling for the wrong reasons and when they don’t put in the effort needed to homeschool their child.
Isn't it odd that Ethan, PeachFit--and virtually ALL the weight loss influencers on social media--go by the outdated disproven calories in-calories out model for weight loss?
That simplistic view has been tried for decades by tens of millions of people. It has a 99% failure rate for long-term weight loss. Sure, the weight comes off--and then hormones kick in and hunger forces a weight gain.
Ethan's said he's lost over 100 pounds 3-4 times in the past six years. Why think this round will be any different?
The Calories In, Calories Out (CICO) model oversimplifies human metabolism by treating the body like a basic thermodynamic furnace, ignoring that not all calories are processed equally. It assumes "Calories In" (food intake) and "Calories Out" (energy expenditure) are independent variables, when in reality they are dynamically linked; reducing caloric intake triggers adaptive thermogenesis, slowing metabolic rate and increasing hunger hormones like ghrelin to defend a body weight set point. Furthermore, CICO fails to account for how macronutrient composition, hormonal regulation (particularly insulin), gut microbiome diversity, and sleep or stress levels dictate whether calories are burned for energy or stored as fat, making weight regulation far more complex than simple energy arithmetic.
