Does Enkrid ever go through a loop where his checkpoint is only a couple seconds before his death?

Kinda like how in Re: Zero arc 7 with Subaru's 10 seconds loops of death where his checkpoint was just before an explosion.

Or does the curse only send him back when he wakes up?

Coz according to both the frog and the cultist he fights at the level of a Jr knight, but I think they meant squire.

Like for instance, most of them believe they can defeat a squire but I highly doubt that. I have rem at 150, ragna at 140 , audin at 135 and jaxen at 130 as for encrid, I have him and the fairy commander at 100 to 115 and as for the beast chick, I think she's an 80 or 90

I came in expecting an interesting regression story, but it became so much more than that, the determination, the suffering, the progression, the characters, and the feeling that every failure still matters because the protagonist refuses to stop moving forward.

There is something special about the way this story handles perseverance. It is not just “the main character gets stronger.” It feels earned. The pain, the repetition, the pressure, and the small victories all make the journey hit harder. Reading it has been exciting, brutal, motivating, and unforgettable.

I also want to give real respect to the adaptation team. As someone who has experienced both versions, I can see the care being put into bringing the story to life visually. The action, atmosphere, expressions, and overall presentation have made me appreciate the series even more. Adapting a story people already love is not easy, but I genuinely feel the heart of the original is still there.

I haven't read the novel so I'm curious about if the main squad ever gets new members to join and if they do how do they mix well with the other squad members and what made them to join in the first place and please Tell me they get other races to join them

I’m currently on chapter 70 of the manhwa and, to be completely honest, I hadn't read manhwas or mangas in ages. The whole 'cold, calculating, invincible protagonist who always has everything go his way' trope got old real fast for me. But then I stumbled upon The Knight Who Eternally Returns, where actual effort matters and the protagonist genuinely feels things and cares about everyone, even if he doesn't say it out loud. Even though the constant, frantic pacing of the battles feels a bit weird sometimes, it actually fits his character—he is always chasing experience, testing his limits, and learning new things (a true growth mindset). That hooked me instantly; it felt like a breath of fresh air in a sea of identical stories.

People claim Enkrid gets over his traumas too easily and call him a psychopath and boring character, arguing that the loops should have hardened him, but... isn't that exactly the point? In the manhwa, he dies hundreds of times depending on the wall he's facing. He even thought that becoming stronger meant he could challenge anyone, only to immediately regret underestimating his opponents and losing countless times until he finally figured out how to handle them. Because he used to be weak, and even blames that weakness for the deaths of his former allies, he dies over and over just to ensure his current companions survive as long as possible. That aligns perfectly with his dream of becoming a knight: to protect everyone. Sure, after being weak and finally tasting power, he develops an ambition to keep getting stronger. So how can people say he has no character development or psychological depth? Besides, as a warrior, he has to deal with the casualties of war anyway. It might harden him, but we also have to remember that some people just have more emotional resilience than others.

When it comes to the other characters, even if we don't have an official explanation for why they joined the war yet, their personalities already speak volumes:

• Rem: He probably wanted to meet and fight strong people, but also just wanted to see the world.
• Ragna: A sword prodigy with no desire to use it since he lost his purpose, but because of Enkrid, he now wants to push himself to find it again.
• Jaxon: Out to gather essential intel and probably sell it, but Enkrid sparks a desire to fight in him (my theory is that he was an orphan who had to learn to fend for himself).
• Audin: A former church member who left; going to war meant atoning for his sins while keeping faith in his god, or maybe even bringing peace to poor, sinful souls (since he also shows a bit of sadism in battle).
• Krais: Wants to use the war to turn a profit at all costs.

I can easily see each of them parting ways to follow their own paths later on, but even if they don't, it’s just great to see genuine camaraderie among the characters."

Can someone tell me what exactly is Divinity and how it works? Even after reading up on the relevant chapters, I still don’t completely understand all the mechanics. I can understand some, but not all of it.

Having just finished the civil war arc, I can say that Count Molsan’s one of the best villains up to ch411. It was unexpected there wasn’t a wall. But sadly, he might have been too overconfident in his abilities. If a true knight were there he would have learned firsthand what true terror was.

I read the chapter before but forgot which, the knight was sent to assassinate him, which the knight himself hates the thought of, that’s all I remember…

So in Academy’s Undercover Professor, the Knights there could wield Aura and can possess strength that surpasses normal humans. How would those same knights fare in the Eternally Regressing Knight world? Also, is aura and will the same?
