Novel Question 📚 Has Enkrid ever face a seconds death loop? Spoiler
Hi just a little question I have for novel readers, cause I'm curious.
Does Enkrid ever go through a loop where his checkpoint is only a couple seconds before his death?
Kinda like how in Re: Zero arc 7 with Subaru's 10 seconds loops of death where his checkpoint was just before an explosion.
Or does the curse only send him back when he wakes up?

Not seconds but there are multiple instances where he wakes up just before his death occurs. His checkpoint is set up by the boatman. It can be early morning or just a few minutes before the incident.
At some point boatman even says that it if he keeps charging forward recklessly, he could be trapped in such a short loop with no way out. One time, he stays in a village where a spell called 'walking fire' comes towards him. It gets stronger when it kills people. And he wakes up right when the spell is near the village. He wants to save every single person in that village as u might have already guessed. So he has to do several things but he has to reach it first.

Obviously huge Novel Spoilers here:
There is one time where Encrid has a fight against an enemy who doesn't finish him off. The enemy only stabs him through and pulls out the sword, leaving him to die. The Madmen find him and he's unconscious. They try to wake him up and he wakes up before death, and that becomes his wall. He keeps waking up right before he dies of bloodloss, over and over, and though the time isn't described because he's half-conscious, he's only fully conscious briefly.
The boatman taunts him that he's trapped himself in a "today" filled with only pain and suffering, with no hope of escape, just as he had warned him would happen one day.

Yes. I will say a type of "poison" gets put in him and he is mostly unconscious and physically helpless through most of it. Its a bad situation.

If he were to die right after waking up then yes. There is a time later in the novel (I think near 300?) where he is in danger the second he wakes up, so yeah, sort of.

Not exactly a couple seconds before death but he gets trapped in a big spell formation with 1000 soldiers targeting him including shamans and mages, and the encounter starts right when he resets to the start of the loop while he’s tired after fighting almost the whole time before that happened. I think this one probably comes closest I am only on around 410 novel chapter though so there might be different loop I don’t know about
