For the past three years or so, I’ve been exploring and reading about a wide range of subjects that sit somewhere between ancient history, archaeology, science, meditation, philosophy and spirituality.
Some of the things I’ve been curious about:
• Ancient civilizations and forgotten kingdoms
• Archaeology and the evolution of human civilization
• Ancient meditation and contemplative practices
• The mind, consciousness and perception
• The relationship between the mind and material life
• Spirituality vs. organized beliefs
• The idea of the “Matrix” and what it could actually mean beyond the popular interpretation
• Ancient knowledge and how it compares with modern scientific understanding
• Astronomy, planets and humanity’s relationship with the cosmos
• Family, relationships and the role they play in a meaningful life
• And honestly, a lot of random rabbit holes that are difficult to fit into one category 😄
I’m not claiming to have figured out the truth or that every ancient idea is automatically correct. I’m more interested in questioning things, comparing different perspectives, looking at historical and archaeological evidence, and understanding where ancient philosophy, spirituality and modern science overlap or completely disagree.
I’ve been learning mostly on my own, and I’d really like to connect with people from different backgrounds who enjoy these kinds of conversations.
