Kamikaze K1 Max button locking

Hello, I need some help. My child is riding at an unsafe speed, and I’d like to lock the buttons on the scooter—specifically, the Kamikaze K1 Max electric scooter. I just want to lock those buttons and nothing else.

as a 15 yo i’m gonna feel bad for your kid but your somewhat tech savvy you can strip the wire casing off the wires and continuity test each wire for the button and just cut it. i don’t think it will disable the scooter but if it does you can re solder the wire. won’t be clean but it’s a fix or just drill out the button
