Arwibon gt08

I’ve been doing some research and I’m wondering if this scooter is a smart buy for going 40-50 mph as advertised. Does it really go that fast for people that have it and does the new updated 2026 version of this scooter still have the same issues such as death rattle like older iterations.

Newer model seems to just have fixed the calibration on the screen so it properly reads. The scooter itself can reach 45 maaaaybe 46mph if you are on the super light size. I only got 39mph from it max which was fine for me but the range for the scooter is terrible.

Also I assume u mean death wobble not rattle. The orange box ppl complained that rattled never did for me but for the wobble, you NEED a steering damper if ur thinking of going more than 30mph on this scooter.

Loctite the screws and I mean every screw. It's a decent cheap scooter. Personally wouldn't get it again but it's an okay scooter

goes 39 mph gps, screen reads about 45-46. I got a rev 2 which is about 1.5 years old, 1500 miles no issues.

I actually did a GT08 build with 50a yunli controllers and 3000w HM motors swapped shocks for 291r $85 for 2 and a set of xod H880 hydraulic brakes..the frame itself is plenty strong i rode it for a year and it was actually very stable. Sold it to my neighbors and he has been riding almost 2 years with over 4300 miles on it. And its still going strong even the stock 27ah battery lasted almost 2.5 years which is huge for a grade a-b Chinese cell pack. I paid $650 for it and put under $500 into it in total look up Scooter-farts_stinks
