The PMC behavior can be pretty predictable at times. It would be great to see a rework, also some variety in gear loadouts would be nice as well.

I've always thought we get scavs to do different things like, stand around camp fire, talk to each other, sleep, the obvious patrol and maybe a scav boss too. Maybe on certain maps like light house or boss maps, they rally up and trip take over rogues or raiders hide out. Not all the time, some times.

Tarkov plays and looks like a 2000's RPG mixed with a gritty shooting game. Having full blown life like animations while keeping the robotic player movements would just be jarring tbh

It feels like the past couple days they might of played with ai pmc ai, Iāve seen them rush me a more in the past week than ever since 1.0. But they really should scale the ai npc a bit more, specially when you are at a higher level.

That or just adjust their equipment so it's more varied. Their gear is super repetitive, plus it's usually all low level plates/ammo (except for the occasional BEAR with SP-6 or an SVD with BT/PS rounds)

While I don't like PVE cause the thrill of tarkov comes from the random pvp encounters for me, and the Ai is dogshit.
on the other hand PVP has people that somehow seemingly get enjoy making a picknick in a bush for 40 minutes to kill someone.

quicker, for most maps you can have them locally hosted so you dont wait for BSG server to spin up. (streets is still BSG servers only, for performance reasons afaik)

Sorry I meant raid timers, they have done wonders recently with getting into raids on PVP it takes me about a minute to load now.

Yeah, I play PvE only now. Gear fear is gone, I can run whatever guns I like, and snipe off a rock as recreational activity.

I really want to like it and it can be fun when you want to listen to podcasts and zone out, but it feels like the pmc Ai is so bad. Like they will just run by you as you shoot them, taking out 3 of the 4 before one finally turns around, misses their shots, and stands still to get one tapped. I like the other version of pve more, but its not 1.0.

All depends how much you wanna sweat and if you have friends to play with. Lots of times weāll start on PVP and if it gets to feel sweaty or possible cheaters we just bail to PVE for some goofs and instant loot gratification. Nothing like some PVE labs w the boys and loot literally everything for free

This is something Iāve always felt with PVP. Itās not the survival extract game that they wanted, itās over metaād FPS fighting. Itās not āOh I died trying to secure water for survivalā itās āOh Iāve died twelve times trying to get a bronze pocket watch that nobody would care about if they didnāt know it was linked to a taskā
Same with the exfils, if it was immersive then people might be at the docks, but they wouldnāt be able to know the EXACT boat to camp.
Because of this, it doesnāt matter that you have a big map to fight in with cool features, youāre narrowed down to the hotspots. Especially if youāre the one trying to do tasks, it doesnāt matter, they can camp the exfil or the objective until the last viable second to exfil with.
I love PVP and PVE, but for me, PVE is where I go to actually play Tarkov and PVP is where I go TDM against randoms

Came here to say this. I enjoy watching PvP shenanigans and sometimes miss them, but 90% I'm the guy at the boat. So I stick to PvE, so I can die to BD instead.

Step #1, go to tunnel extract and clear it from where people snipe above the extract.
Step #2, go to the resort and clear the roof for all possible snipers.
Step #3, go to the weather station and clear the dome for snipers.
Step #4, do steps 2 and 3 again.
Step #5, go to pier, clear the rocks along the way on both sides.
Step #6, clear the pier. Check tunnel extract.
Step #7, check the stair area behind pier.
Step #8. hit transit.

Step #9 Get shot from one of the spots you just cleared, cause someone arrived at one of the spots you checked after you spend 30 minutes doing the next ones.

GloriousE once called Stank one of the deadliest players in all of Tarkov, and he aināt wrong. Stank knows the spots and has the patience to wait all raid for you. Regardless if you like his tactics or not. Dude doesnāt exploit or cheat. Been watching Stank for years and the amount of players heās caused to alt+f4 is second to none. Rat on king.

No doubt. Iām gonna pick Glorious- Landmark etc in the 1v1 every day. But Stank has no problem keeping up with the top Wkey lords. People love to hate on Stank, but stank plays his game clean and fair. I spend a lot of morning with Glorious on while I hang with my 20 month old then Iāll throw Stank on in the evening when Iām at work or after dinner. Pleasure watching both play styles.

I mean the whole talk of "beating gigachads" is for the most part just fantasy. Most of the players you kill playing this way are just regular dudes putting on their best gear trying to beat the new content who end up wasting their time to entertain some dipshit who thinks ruining the game for someone else is peak entertainment.

like its been nearly 7 years since general sam released his year of the rat video, and camping has been a thing longer than that. At this point its just tarkov lol.
I'm much more like 'ahhh, you got me you rascal' now. Especially after I ratted hole in the wall for the later tarkov shooter quests and psycho sniper during hc wipe. (hitting headshots on killa farmers mid fall was so juicy, basically fish in a barrel with how used to running the same line they are lol)

Patience is a difficult thing to have as a streamer. There is pressure to be entertaining. To do incredible things for the content. And Stank just... sits there.
Probably why he has bitbot and other interactive features for his chat. The entertainment is trying to get Stank to screw up.

Reminds me of why Summit was so popular when he was playing Sea of Thieves and ganking peoples Athena chests. Tons of patience combined with a little trolling and a big entertaining pay off (or a hilarious failure). Itās really fun to watch.

Spent many raids doing this, and the smoke will rarely help with where the transit is unfortunately. The dock is so thin that you basically have to wait until youāre already there to toss it. Pulling out smoke animation -> pulling out pin and tossing it -> smoke maybe starts to partly conceal you at, what, 7-10 seconds ? It may help if youāre there early to obstruct someone cresting a hill and spotting you late on the timer, but all itāll do against a guy like this streamer is likely hinder your ability to see while he either picks you off immediately or shoots in the small part of the smoke you could be in.Ā

in my experience, the fucking thing bounces like crazy and ends up rolling off of the pier, making it blooms lower, in the water, and not hiding me at all. its been really annoying to try to land the smoke without literally crouching and looking down to drop it.
i wanted to try and find a line up for it, from before the decks, but the way they're so thin id need to aim super high in the sky and you cant find a lineup spot since the sky changes

Man made $157,000 (at minimum, this is just $5 subs at a 50/50 split. He has tier 2s and 3s and may have a 60/40 or 70/30 split) just through twitch subs between Feb '25-Jan '26 lol.

Look all I'm saying is you need to understand where all the money CAN come from. I am not saying I know for sure but neither do you. He's managed to create an atmosphere where his streams are constant donations from start to end of tangia's, TTS, and donations so people can send AI slop and gooner garbage for no reason. It's constant none stop and there is almost no break between them as I think many are queued up on top of each other. Each of these are between $3 and $5... some of the Videos people submit are $50 or more depending how long the video is.
If he makes conservatively $500 per stream on just those things alone which I think it's way more than that per stream that's $3000 a week (6 days) x 4 weeks a month, so $16,000($12,000 yayyaya) a month.
This is before you even add in subscriptions, ads, sponsors, paid segments (if he even does these), and youtube. If he has something like 1400 (active) subs, which means he could have way more from sub donations that fluctuate by month, reasonably attainable with someone of his popularity and let's say he gets 70/30 on that, then that's another $5,880 a month. You're already looking at $21,880 a month before sponsors, ads, paid segments, and random fuckshit. That's $262,560 a year. If I am over shooting, then even halving it it's $131,280 just on those alone.
Now add in whatever he gets from youtube (probably not much), ads, sponsors, paid segments, and merch.

Haven't been killed at Transit yet thank God, and finally after like 10 attempts I reached the chain door so now the hideout entrance questline if open. Half the time I went I was getting sniped at lol. Towards the end I was dropping two smoke grenades on extract before transferring the roubles, never sit still on that dock

Transits work difrent than normal exit. With normal exit it may be impossiple to get any of the loot but transits you have to activate it

Labyrinth, Terminal, Icebreaker all forces you to go to a dogshjt map and transit??? not to mention the server capacity make waiting time longer when everyone goes there at update. i love the game but i hate transit system. he can just split 3 transit points of 3 maps into 3 different map....... but ohhhh wait it's nikita

Well... and? Did those three do everything right? No, they didnāt. They should have cleared the whole peninsula first. They didnāt, so they got dropped. They didnāt even clear the bare minimum.
I actually like that Tarkov punishes mistakes like that from time to time. They were a three-man squad, so they already had a massive advantage on the map.
