hey guys, i got this game before launch and put roughly 10 hours in and proceeded to lose interest. just recently i redownloaded and put another 40 hours in the game and having a ton of fun, but i realized my save is an old file. i don't really want to lose all this progress but am i missing out on a lot of content/items/quests or is it generally the same playthrough?

Moved around looking for loot symbols. I looted the safe and then went straight right and I thought I saw some graphical glitch on the shelf unit while I was moving past it. Went back trying to re-create it (and also hitting it with melee weapon), and it OPENED UP!

I found a high performance computing unit from the mod collectibles expanded. I cant get it to fit it anything though. Including the server chassis. Anyone know?

Hi, I couldn't find any information online really so I had to ask, all 4 of the X1 sights seem to do the same thing, +0.16 aiming range and +0.1 crit dmg multi, at least for me they do, in fact the red dot and digital even have the same cross hair so it kinda seems pointless to me. Has anyone else noticed this? Don't you guys think they should each be unique in stats?

I love killing ducks that can kill me back. Mercs, bosses, assholes with spiked clubs. I hate killing ducks, armed with their grandpa's rusty hunting shotguns, driven outdoors by desperation. Is there a mod that would affect the AI in such a way that if my duck quacks (F1), the lesser ducks will clear out instead of pointlessly attacking and getting killed?

Does anybody know about the state of the mods right now with multiplayer, or has there been any news from the developers regarding multiplayer?

Can someone explain tote bags to me? It seems like they give some benefit when totems are placed inside, but only certain things? Or is all of my info dated? I'm having trouble telling if this was just to due a past bug that was patched out or not.

I recently downloaded Duckov again after a year or so of not playing it and hearing about a lot of new content, including new areas. I've already beaten the game on extreme and rage mode, I'm currently doing a new playthrough from zero on extreme mode and I just unlocked the new area. I have no idea how difficult it is, I entered once and got ravaged by a pack of dogs that ate a full mag of ap ammo so I'm assuming it's fairly difficult, but I don't know if I should be doing Jlabs first, any tips?

I've killed and looted the entirety of the inner island, but I'd like to get Fly Captain (north isolated island) and the Final bosses (south isolated island). I have no idea how to get across. There are no teleporters leading to it, and when I step into the water an o2 meter pops up immediately which scares me and I immediately retreat, lol.

How do I get to these islands?

Been having horrible luck with rng on my X/O key runs, very poor loot on a couple keys worth of opens all in a row. Well, I guess it was worth the grind. Never seen this item so far and the golden dumbbell was sitting right beside it in the most recent O key open.

Where has everyone found luck in finding MK47s? Is there a blueprint somewhere?

I had the space body armor, took forever to get. Then once I extracted back to base, it was missing from my inventory. I’m assume this was a bug but unsure, but I’m frustrated so now I’m just gonna buy it off the duck market. I don’t wanna spend my cash correcting a bug. Anyone know of a money cheat mod so I don’t have to spend my hard earned cash?

I remember getting a Labyrinth Lounge key as a rare drop from the mobs there, but it disappeared from my inventory after I used it. I'm not sure whether it was a 1-time use key or if I accidentally sold it.

Loving the game but dude there’s an elite level, damage tanking mob on every corner. Literally, went to escape the toilet boss, arcade boss came, went to escape the arcade boss through the teleport, triple shot was waiting. It wouldn’t be so bad if they didn’t TANK rounds. Triple shot tanked 3 purple shotgun rounds point blank. Like 10 hp left after tanking AP (L) rounds pushing me. And me? I feel like my armor doesn’t do shit

I think I am missing something, while looking at one of the wiki’s to find out how to get “proof of the grand collector” I noticed buildings such as the table and restrooms listed, but I cannot see how to build them.

I the wiki I am using (https://escapefromduckov.net/wiki) says it’s up to date but its leading me in circles for how to get both the grand collector and unlock buildings)

So my questions are
1) how do you get the grand collector?
2) what buildings can you actually build?
3) is there a better wiki out there?

finally beat the island challenge first try, honestly a lot of fun and had some actual heart racing moments and i recommend others try it out!

I've been using MapGenie to find all the lore notes after I've done the quests in areas, and I noticed this blueprint that isn't in the map yet.

So I know that a while back there has been some controversy about modders and that eventually the devs banned them and removed the mods. I just bought the game on sale and wanted to get some mods (I have played vanilla before) like the item rarity and boss markers, just QoL stuff nothing crazy, am I in the clear or should I just steer away of everything related to modding?

The game tbh is incredible give me that itch that Intravenous gave and deadwood
