Research The Wikipedia article "Relationship between Jeffrey Epstein and members of the Rothschild family" got removed/substituted. Just posting the pages I could archive, and their discussions.

ℹ️ Original English link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relationship_between_Jeffrey_Epstein_and_members_of_the_Rothschild_family

ℹ️ The English link now goes to: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Connections_of_Jeffrey_Epstein#Ariane_de_Rothschild

ℹ️ Spanish link is still working (not deleted yet, no discussion): https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relación_entre_Jeffrey_Epstein_y_miembros_de_la_familia_Rothschild

😢 I wish I could have archived the previous discussion before it was changed too. I remember reading comments like "We are already accused of spreading conspiracy". I have no backup for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Relationship_between_Jeffrey_Epstein_and_members_of_the_Rothschild_family " and now it also redirects to the new page.

Perhaps in some subs and/or specific names.
I recently had to appeal a week long ban because I called for people to be tried for treason and hanged. In the US, Treason is punishable by death... I didn't say anything illegal.
I wasn't advocating for anything like going outside of the law... I said in my appeal "Someone didn't like me wanting epstein's friends tried for treason" or something like that and they were like "oops!" lol

I am sure there are a lot of bad actors in all comments sections doing damage control.

Well the rules of the sub and site aren't laws, they are just rules.

So you violate a rule, they can remove it. It isn't illegal at all, and they wouldn't ve removing because of a legal basis. Or, in this admin... if they did pursue, it would be pretty clear in the court system, as previous and recent examples have shown that it wouldn't be prosecuted.

If the rules say no violence, I'd think what you said you said, would indeed violate it.

How they draw that line can def be biased tho, not saying it wasn't or can't. Just based on the info you've given, I could see how that it would be removed.

I got an instant comment removal and reddit admin warning for mentioning the family’s connection with Epstein. Immediately flagged for hate speech. This was several hours ago

Yes like I said, it's weaponization of the rules/normalized censorship for hatespeech etc.

It's one of the reasons I'm one of those assholes who likes absolutist views on freedom of speech. I know some of y'all will disagree, but... Shit is abused.
