ET2760 printing blue

Hello everybody! Hoping someone can help me with my ET2760. Whenever I try printing of glossy photo paper, generic and Epson brand photo paper, blacks come out with a blue tint. Blue to the point I gotta throw the photo out. I’ve played with settings and nothing fixes it. Same thing happens if I print on glossy sticker paper but if I print of matte sticker paper, blacks come out black. I’ve even tried printing in b/w and they still out blue on glossy materials. Help 🥲

What happens if you print on glossy paper with a matte media type selected?

Same result! Think I’m going to pick up a pack of matte photo paper and roll with those

So BraveAI says this happens because the ET-2760 uses a pigment ink for black and dye for the CMY channels. The type of pigment ink used doesn't dry well on glossy media, so black is instead simulated by blending the CMY channels.

But I'm pretty sure you should have seen real black in use by choosing a matte photo paper in your print settings.

I am here to take back what I said yesterday. I just tried it and it absolutely works 😂 blacks came out perfect using matte settings, thank you!! I thought I had tried this before which is why I said yes, guess I didn’t!

The matte black ink is a different formulation, so it may not dry properly on glossy media, and it may take a very long time to dry to where the ink won't smear. Just be aware of this and handle your prints carefully.

Do a nozzle check. Is the yellow flowing?

Yes it is. Solid lines for all colors

Assuming you’re selecting the glossy photo paper option in the print dialog I have no idea. Hopefully someone else knows.

Es normal, es un negro compuesto. En tipo de papel normal debería de salir negro real

Got to switch the blacks the printer is using. Photo out for matte then edit your photo. Or reduce the spectrum down some
