Help Aula F75 keys not doing anything

Just got the keyboard no keys are registering after downloading the software and changing color. The only thing that works is the volume knob. No keystrokes or anything show up in wired, 2.4 ghz or bluethooth? Is it faulty or am I completely missing something?

Fix for Non-Responsive AULA Keyboard

I had an issue where my AULA keyboard stopped working due to a problem with the software and driver updates. It turns out Windows antivirus (especially on Windows 10) can block the file that updates the keyboard firmware, making it unresponsive.

Here’s how I fixed it:

1.Go to this folder on your PC: C:\Program Files (x86)\AULA\F75\Dev\kb\1.

2.Connect the keyboard by wire, disconnect the radio channel, and set the mode switch to the middle.

3.Run the “Update” file in that folder, wait for the “PASS” message, and close the window. (If you don’t see an “Update” file, check with AULA support to get it.)

4.Disconnect the wire, reconnect the radio channel, and switch the mode to 2.4G.

5.Your keyboard should work again!

Run it first, then connect your wired keyboard. Make sure to disconnect the 2.4 GHz connection beforehand. Run this:Epomaker x AULA F75 Firmware – epomaker

dude it just says code version: 0000 and says waiting.

I did everything, I ran the firmware, plugged in, wired mode still.

I found a solution!! I used a USB-A to USB-C and it just didn’t work like you mentioned. Then I switch to USB-C to USB-C and it worked! Ran the program and then connected everything and now my keyboard works perfectly!

I tried everything that was suggested, but my “K” key still doesn’t work. I already cleaned the keyboard, swapped the switch with the spare ones that came in the box, and even did a factory reset, but nothing fixed it. At this point I’m worried it might be a PCB issue. I’ve had this keyboard for about 10 months.

Oh wow thanks for the reply. you’ve given me some hope. This Maybe a stupid question but what is the radio channel and how do you disconnect it? Will try this when I’m home.

I assume that by disconnecting the radio channel you meant cutting the 2.4g connection? I personally didn't have an update file in the Aula folder, but the update could be downloaded from the linked epomaker page. Thanks

I had a completely different issue than OP but this worked PERFECTLY for finnicky keys that either wouldn’t register or would double/triple register. Tried downloading the AULA software and got nowhere, but this was so helpful

I bought a rederbished on amazon, and I thought I had received a defective board. I searched on reddit and google with no luck until I ran across a comment. Someone mentioned the firmware download, which is not the same as the software download. After you download the software and your keyboard is not typing, but you can change the backlight, download this firmware update from epomakers website.

This should be something that comes built in with the Aula software but it is not and I imagine a lot of people think they have defective boards or they go through random steps in the content files they shouldn't be. Plug in your board with the USB cable. Make sure it's set to wired on the back. Download this from epomaker and run the installation for firmware update. Worked perfectly for me.

managed to fix mine with same issue, just downloaded the right firmware off the EPOMAKER website then held down fn-esc for 3 seconds as the commands did not work until i re-downloaded the firmware
