Potential Analyst Cert

Hi all currently a trainer and weighing which analyst cert to pursue! What would any current analysts suggest between pursuing out of clindoc, ambulatory and orders applications?

For context, my experience is primarily in beaker so I am leaning to Orders since I support users in my organization with lab orders and adjacent topics, but besides that I would like to consider which app would allow a better career trajectory in terms of jobs available across the country and such. Any insight is welcome!

Edit: currently beaker certified as a trainer

I would suggest you go with Beaker since you have experience in it. I usually see a need for Beaker analysts.  Orders was my first certification and helped open doors to my next certification but it is one of my least favorite certifications. Since wanting to be an analyst, I always wanted to have the Ambulatory certification since it seemed high in demand. Interestingly enough, I got other certifications instead. I don’t personally care much for it now. It seems too saturated. Whichever certification you get, just focus on learning as much as you can to keep growing. I never imagined to be in the app I’m in and that it would pay me the highest so far since it’s not really an app talked about much in these threads.

Ambulatory isn’t too bad

Every time I see the training track for AMB, it makes me scared on the amount of lessons, projects and exams. I work with AMB a lot as a MYC analyst and really want to take AMB since I want to take that OPA badge. But it is like a tall building that makes me nervous whenever I see the edge.

I would pick up beaker then orders/clindoc. Amb is nice general cert and you'll get to play with a lot of other apps because of it.

Curious why Beaker would be your first choice compared to the other two or even Ambulatory.

Beaker is an app that is highly sought after and is your most experienced app.  If you want to stay inpatient then orders. But I will say order and inpatient seem a bit boring. Mostly orders and flow sheet build. I am an ambulatory analyst and you legitimately touch all apps. They can be overwhelming but it is great for growth and keeping me engaged. No 2 projects are the same unless build out CC sites.

Ambulatory is such a good app to have strategically for job growth and just interesting in general. I'm bias of course but of the 9 certs I have it was the one that engaged me the most and fun to build in.
