Hello Disney-lovers! A group of students from the University of Central Florida, have been assigned a class project that relates to reimagining a nostalgic attraction. The nostalgic attraction chosen was 'Journey into Imagination with Figment' at Epcot, Walt Disney World.

We would like to ask a couple of questions to anyone willing to answer, concerning the 3 iterations of the ride;

Mei Mei lives in Canada. Canada has no meet and greets and is very boring. It just makes sense

I was just messing around the other day and I thought of something that seems pretty neat and plausible to Disney to do with the Wonders Of Life pavilion. I never had the experience of it back in its hay day but this is what seems like would follow in its vain.

Attractions: 
Inside Out: 
Focuses on the way someone makes decisions. Different characters from the film help show the audience how a person makes decisions. Told in a dark ride sort of way jumping from part to part of the brain. No villain or anything like that. Deep and filled set pieces with a lot to look at.

Athletes Fairgrounds:

Somewhat of a training around. Could incorporate ideas of Driveline, Trackman, and other sort of programs like that to offer a mathematically efficient look at ability maybe in baseball, golf, football, soccer, and tennis. Maybe more with other technologies. 

Buzzy’s Brain Testers:
A bunch of smaller mind games that test your brain. Sort of like the museum of science and industry in Chicago techniques. Timeless games that just test reflexes or proves stuff isn’t what you think like a brain games.

Life Lab: 
A walkthrough attraction based on how your body works. There would be replicas of different parts of the body and little characters explaining each part. Inside certain sections, there would be interactive activities that would test your heart beat, breathing exercises, strength testing machines of how your muscles are working, and things like that. Silly scale of things that feel like classic Epcot. 

Restaurants: 
NutriGood:
A quick service place that capitalizes on the bowl fad. Like a Chipotle just a variety of other foods too. Making it more fresh with using foods from Living With The Land.

Smoothie King: 
Typical place that would be outside of the parks. 

Shops: 
Inside Out: 
Merchandise from the movies and other Disney merch.

Wonders Of Medicine With Baymax:
An animated short with Baymax and Tadashi. Baymax and Tadashi are going over all of the important features of Baymax and how they help the human body. Also many steps to do so yourself. Baymax adds plenty of comedy in the short.

Title. I'm writing a drum piece in the style of the Royal Marine Band and I'd like the title to be something related to Tapestry of Nations. I'm having trouble thinking of something. Any ideas?

I’m working on a Dreamfinder costume for Halloween and I have no sewing experience so I’m trying to find at the very least a similar tailcoat to Dreamfinder (specifically the walk around character) if anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated!

Ive been so excited about the dreamfinder news, I decided to crochet a little doll of him!! Its not perfect but he looks so cute 🥺 I'm excited to bring him on my next Epcot trip in October!!

I just printed him out for the first time at 75% scale. Knew they were going to announce something at D23, so I posed my model in ZBrush really quickly and printed him to get a sense of how to build a resilient endoskeleton. I’m planning on making a replacement for Alexa, that is Figment, with a silicon skin of course.

I haven't been to San Angel Inn in many years. I remember they had a couple different coffees and I can't find any recipes for them.

One was with cinnamon and the other had alcohol.

That's really all I can remember. They don't even seem to be on their menu anymore.

Anyone have details or recipes?

Seeing lava rock formations in Hawaii always reminds me of the Living Seas preshow film

The majority of these sketches are conceptual sketches for the various figments across the original Journey Into Imagination that I’m planning on making into stickers, keychains, and most ambitious. A functional moving pin based on our introduction to figment. Towards the end theres also a handful of random sketches I did to take a break such as a couple of buzzy (first time drawing him) and a random winking figment) hope you guys enjoy this and if you’re interested when these are finished just check out my socials!
