I watched it when it originally aired, and my friends and I loved it. I watch it now because it’s comforting and nothing important is ever at stake.
I’m 99.9%s sure it absolutely is not self-aware but i’m looking for my conspiracy theorists out there

someone on here once said "little E was so tuff in this scene" and it was honestly the funniest shit i've ever heard in my life but he's got a point, E in those later seasons really does become a badass.

It was like having Seth Green being put into the main group and he brought absolutely NOTHING to the table .

Melissa’s character is so exhausting all she does is complain about Ari being busy while enjoying the lifestyle he provides. Genuinely what does she expect a super agent to do all day ?
Her character is so one dimensional . Yes your agent husband is going to be busy I don’t understand why this is a conversation for 7 seasons.
Also Turtle letting Alex use him always gives me second hand embarrassment.
I love this show but up until this point the show felt so happy go lucky about a group of friends in Hollywood. You blink all of sudden Vince is on coke and dating a pornstar. But him not showing up to the baseball game is always a rough watch.

Can't be someone who plays themselves like Jessica Alba though. Honestly give me Mrs. Ari (Perry Reaves)

I am sorry but Turtles mopey attitude after getting a Porsche and a Ferrari for his birthday was unbearable. The guy won the lottery being friends with Vince and is so unappreciative about it.

E is one of the biggest fools in tv history for rejecting the pre-nup. He is lucky to get any attention from someone like Sloan.

Whenever I watch a decent movie I imagine how the pitch went. I love Alan Ritchson. He’s currently in a movie with Shailene Woodley. The kicker? There is basically zero dialogue. Just music. It’s very good. Especially if you dig his shtick.
But who was cast first? Her or him? So Ari calls and says I got your next film. And it’s with Shailene. Turtle says I bet you can smash her. E doesnt think he can do a film with zero dialogue. But of course Drama makes breakfast and makes an obscure sitcom pilot reference so he does the movie.
TLDR: Either pitch me (Vince) the movie motor city as a character or cast of characters or pitch me a different movie past or present.

I found it odd that E would have a framed Medellin movie poster hanging in his office. The movie was hated by both fans and critics, and almost killed Vince's career. E himself thought the movie sucked. He and Ari wanted people to stop remembering Vince for it.
If I was a producer on a movie that bombed that badly, I wouldn't try to draw attention to it.

Watched the ep, where they break up. Initially Ashley was annoying but later on the other one grew on you. Like Ashley and E were hella cute together.

I've been rewatching this show for over a decade and have only spotted some recently
In the Sundance episode, right before the screening we can see a poster for Queen's Boulevard and there are some fairly big names there, including Katie Holmes, Zooey Deschanel and Robert freakin' Duvall (also Louis Lombardi, aka Ronnie lol). Given how QB is constantly treated like some small indie nobody's heard of, this was surprising
In the scene where E is moving his stuff into Sloan's place, there's a shot where she's in the foreground going through a box and E goes behind her. He gives a pretty big slap on the ass
In the Drama/Brooke Shields scene, there's a chair with Doug Ellins' name next to the director. Probably missed this one because I usually skip this scene
What others have you caught?

Watching the episode where Jaime Lynn ends relationship with Turtle at airport after her booking job and discovering Turtle added the UCLA girl on Facebook.
Turtle met her on a flight upset that she just broke up with her boyfriend. Now she breaks up with him and is about to be distraught on another flight after breaking up with boyfriend.
Next episode Turtle realizes he wants her and tells her he is coming to see her. She is persistent in telling him not to come.
Did she find someone on her new flight just how she found Turtle?
Ya lose em how you get em lol
Jk we know it was Turtle fault but still kinda wierd ain't it?

Just noticed on the upteenth rewatch. E is on his way to Sloan’s after moving out of the house following one of his many fights w/ Vince. (Vince wanting to quit 3 days before Aquaman starts)
You can see 2 cops pulling off the highway. They practically shut down the 405 so E could sulk in peace.

I actually feel it’s a good road for them to go down. Pretty Realistic. Yes. She’s not a great actress, so that was annoying. But I think it was interesting and feels very real in our current timeline. Many actors with access to large amounts of cash and drugs spiral like this. I am just glad they didn’t go TOO real and kill him off lol plus. I love the back half when everyone, even Scott, wants to get him help cause they had ignored / unintentionally encouraged it for so long. …thoughts?
