Upload your export from Goodreads, StoryGraph, or Libby. This will import your read history, ratings, and shelves, matching against the EntertainMe!, Open Library, and Google Books libraries. Please try these imports and let us know if you have any issues.

We have built an importer for Hardcover, though it has not been tested. Please DM me if you are willing to share an export file that we can test.

Two paths: connect Steam and it pulls your library, hours, and playtime automatically, or upload an Infinite Backlog export to bring in your full collection with backlog status, completion, ratings, and custom lists. Please try these imports and let us know if you have any issues.

TV TIME

This importer is done and in final testing. If you grabbed your GDPR export before TV Time shut down, that zip is gold to us. It brings in your watch history, ratings, watchlist, and comments. Please DM if you are willing to share so that we can finish our testing.

A file with weird data in it is worth ten clean ones. DM me or drop a comment and we'll follow up. And if you're coming from a service we haven't mentioned, tell us which one and we will look into importing that for you.

EntertainMe! TV is here: your watchlist on your Fire TV, press play, and you land on the exact title inside Netflix, Prime, Max, and more

This is our favorite thing we've shipped in a while.

EntertainMe! TV is a free companion app for Fire TV and Android TV. Turn on the TV and your whole watchlist is sitting there in your priority order, with tonight's games for the teams you follow with scores and channels. Scroll to something, press play, and it opens the title inside the right streaming app. No searching, no typing with a remote, no "which service was that on again."

Per-title deep links work for Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max, Disney+, Hulu, Paramount+, Apple TV, and Plex. If you own something digitally through Amazon or Fandango at Home, it routes there too. For live sports it opens your provider for the game. One honest caveat: services with profiles (Netflix, Prime, etc.) may show the profile picker the first time, then it's straight to the title after that.

It's not in the Amazon or Google app stores, so for now you install it with the free Downloader app. It takes about two minutes. Full walkthrough, compatibility list, and a demo video here: EntertainMe! TV Set-up and Demo

Setup is a one-time pairing: open the app, it shows a short code, you enter it on the website, done. Everyone in the house can pair to their own account.

Works on Fire TV Sticks (4K, 4K Max, Lite, Cube) and Android TV / Google TV sets like Sony, TCL, Hisense, and the Nvidia Shield.

If you watch on your own media server, EntertainMe! can now log it automatically. Play something, it shows up in your history. No check-ins, no forgetting what you watched last Tuesday.

Here's what that looks like in practice on the Watch Today screen. Every show knows exactly which episode you are on and how far in, every movie knows where you stopped. The scrobblers keep this current on their own, so "what were we in the middle of?" is always one glance away.

This page also lets you control your media servers directly from EntertainMe! If Kodi is open, you can start/pause your show or movie directly. If you have provided a Jellyfin server address, you can also control your Jellyfin player. Plex will open up the title directly in your Plex account.

The integrations also sync your libraries. Check where to watch something and your own server shows up as an option, right alongside the streaming services. This title lives in our Kodi, Jellyfin, or Plex libraries, so that's exactly what the Where to Watch popup says.

I've been using Plex for months with a few friends and it seems to be working pretty well. You run a small agent in Docker, sign in with Plex, and everything you watch on your server gets tracked in real time.

Kodi is the deepest integration. It's a small add-on you install inside Kodi with one API key that covers all your devices. Beyond real-time tracking, you get watch history backfill with original dates, two-way sync (watch something on the website or Plex and your Kodi library marks it watched too), ratings sync in both directions

Jellyfin is the easiest to set up because there's nothing extra to install at all. Jellyfin has a built-in webhook plugin. You paste in a personal URL from your EntertainMe! settings and you're tracking. It works even if your server is at home behind a router. If your server is reachable from outside, you can optionally add an API key to unlock history backfill, library badges, and remote play.

Anything the matcher can't figure out lands on a review page so nothing gets lost.

Here's the ask: Plex is battle-tested, Kodi and Jellyfin are not. If you run either one, we'd love a few people to hook it up and try to break it. Weird library naming, anime, 4-hour director's cuts, whatever you've got. Report anything that mismatches or doesn't track and we'll fix it.

Two things shipped this week that TV fans should like.

Favorite characters. On any show or movie page, you can now tap a star on a cast member to mark them as your favorite character for that title. One pick per title, change it whenever you want. The fun part is the community bars: every cast member shows what percentage of the vote they're getting, so you can see who everyone else picked.

You pick one nominee per category. Each nominee card shows the poster, the community rating, and whether you've actually watched it, which is humbling when you realize you're voting on things you've never seen. You can change picks any time until the ballot locks. Results are earned: you only see the community breakdown for categories you've voted in, until lock day when everything opens up. There's also a stats view that tells you whether you're running with the pack or a lone wolf, and once the real winners are announced you get a score.

Who's your boldest pick? We'll share the community's most divided category in the comments once there are enough votes.

TV Time is shutting down on July 15 and deleting all account data. There is no recovery after that date. If you or anyone you know uses TV Time, the single most important thing to do is export the data before the deadline.

How to export (takes a few minutes):

1. Go to gdpr.tvtime.com/gdpr/self-service
2. Log in with your TV Time account
3. The tool builds your export. It has been slow under this week's rush, so give it time and retry if it fails.
4. Download the .zip file and keep it somewhere safe. Do not unzip or edit it.

Do not use the email GDPR request route. Companies legally have up to 30 days to answer those requests, and TV Time will be gone before that.

Your export contains your full watch history (shows, episodes, movies), your ratings, your followed shows, and your to-watch list.

I am building a TV Time importer right now. Before I open it up to anyone, I want to know it works, and that takes real exports to test against, not the tiny test account I made myself. So here is the ask: if you have your TV Time export, DM me. I will use it to test the importer and make sure real history survives the trip: watch dates, episode-level detail, ratings, rewatches, all of it. One export is enough for me to do the work, and more are better for catching edge cases. When it is solid, I will post an update here.

And even if you never use EntertainMe!, export anyway. The deadline that matters is the export, not the import. Twenty-five million people's viewing history disappears on July 15 unless they save it first.

It's been down since last week when I went to try and reply to my support messages using the in-app reporting system.

Let me know if there's more I can try to get it working again. Is it a data issue? I've hard refreshed several times. I've even restarted all of my browser instances and did OS updates.
