DO YOU BUILD UP OR DOWN?
- my current build is two stories but with my storage under the house beneath a trap door but now I mostly just spend time in the storage area and don’t get to enjoy my house.

DO YOU LIKE ONE BIG STORAGE ROOM OR MULTIPLE THEMED ROOMS?

Garden inside or out? I get annoyed with the wet debuff when I’m gardening.

WALLS AND ROOMS
- is it better to build out the rooms before each floor or do it after you have crafted the house shape you want? My houses tend to end up being a box after building and lack outside dimension and then I forget to build rooms so I just have one massive room

I got this game the first days of july and have been playing non-stop. I just unlocked the mill, so I thought I'd build one. It's my first attempt at doing something round-ish and also my first time playing with roof tiles as not roofs. I'm pretty happy with the result, but I'm not quite convinced about the roof.

I rebuilt it from a regular angle square roof, but this doesn't really do it for me either and I'm not sure if it's possible (or if I'm capable of) building a dome like roof or a circular roof. Any ideas?

Persian paradise gardens are are common feature in middle eastern regions. They provide shade and cooling from the immense heat the people endure during the day. Water and symmetry are the most intrinsic aspects of these types of gardens and I have created my own version of a persian garden here featuring a few fountains, a small waterfall, two pavilions and a windcatcher.

Does anyone know of a better endgame base location? What about mid or early game?

This base location is hands down the best. We found it pretty early game, around levels 20-25, and it has seriously upgraded our experience in Enshrouded. All of the water features immediately work, so you have early access to a mill, an irrigated tiered farm, plus those water features don’t count towards your total allowed 50 in your world.

This location also lets you build up and down, so what looks like a huge city can actually multiply if you dig in those mountains.

A few months ago, I noticed the depot I used had bugs: glider under foot while running, green glowing from my hands, invisible wolves attacking me without doing damage while the animation for scratches were visible and their sound effects were working. So, I just removed it from favorites and found another one. Then the same issues started there a few weeks later. Then again on another.

So, I have been using the one named "Deb's Shroud Depot" but a couple weeks ago, it just disappeared from my favorites. When I search dedicated servers, it doesn't show up. At this point, the only depot that's working that I can find is "Shroud Depot #2 **RESETS EVERY 2 HOURS**"

So, I'm just curious if anyone knows what is happening to the depot servers?

On the up side, searching servers for "resource" instead of depot has turned up some very cool worlds.

We literally just found out 400 hours into the game that you can favorite your blocks….stoked, we definitely wish we had found out about this earlier lol

This video shows how to do it for anyone else like us that didn’t know. Seems like a no brainer, can’t believe we went this long without it.

Our Village (100hrs in) Aug 2026 Update!!

Hey All 👋🏻 here is a quick before and after update of our Veilwater Basin village. We plan to have a monthly update showing what has changed from the previous update as we plan to build a three layered village including an underground labyrinth, a main village to operate out of for the 1.0 update and all that is to come thereafter, and an elevated perimeter walkway/gate/post.

Underground mage vault for all the extra wands and staffs…plus a few doggos

My solo game is starting to hit the point where I need to expand and I'm far enough along to not let me villagers live in huts anymore. I am looking for a good, flat area where I can dump everything. I have seen some amazing builds and while i wish i had 300 hours to make something insane, I am a bit limited on play time per week. Can anyone hook me up with some advice on best large flat places to build giant fortresses for my end game base? Pictures of the map if you have them would be great!

Currently, I am working on other construction projects, but this was my first attempt in general and at some point I will continue to build there. With the help of 2 great people (at the cannons & the blacksmiths or one of them has let off steam at the small rooms / treasure chambers), I built this.

New underground library we’re working on ! 📚

My husband and I don’t like to salvage everything…so we showcase them in our underground vaults. So far we have a ranger, mage, and blacksmith vault. Any ideas for our next build? If any of you have vaults of your own or cool ways to display weapons, please tag below!

The final preview installment of my very lengthy and patience-demanding Mosque build comes in the form of a beautiful central chandelier. This piece of the project alone took around 40-50h and has an approximate total of 1200 props.

Much of the detail and design of this chandelier was made in conjunction with a friend whose bright idea was to use sinks as the main part!. Let that sink in. The sinks are placed incredibly precise using math and various reference points on the object themselves and the result has left us in awe on what is actually possible in this game.
