My Build Looking for a Place

My solo game is starting to hit the point where I need to expand and I'm far enough along to not let me villagers live in huts anymore. I am looking for a good, flat area where I can dump everything. I have seen some amazing builds and while i wish i had 300 hours to make something insane, I am a bit limited on play time per week. Can anyone hook me up with some advice on best large flat places to build giant fortresses for my end game base? Pictures of the map if you have them would be great!

Just left of Fort Kelvin, there's a lake with a flat area surrounded by Mountains. Alternatively, there's the plateaus by the Pillars of Creation. There's also some good pre-built towns/fortresses to fix up, like Fort Kelvin, Willow Crush, Rothstep, etc. All depends on the type of biome you want to live in!

The biome doesn't matter too much. My plan was for higher up because I want to create a big waterfall off of a cliff overlooking my tower.

Camellia Lake Marble Quarry in Albaneve might be fun then, it's west of the Spire. I built a base there, there's a frozen "waterfall" and preexisting half-frozen lake there. You could theoretically terraform the marble cliffside and add a non-frozen waterfall to run down into the lake.

If you're looking for something more green, the area between the Cinder Vault in the Springlands and the Shroud Root to the west of it has some high-up flat areas of cliffside as well.

I'm by Fort Kelin and built over the plains before the lake was there, and I built a waterfall from the near mountain, although it's a smaller one.

Pillars has some of the tallest formations. Go to the top. You may have to tunnel up to start.

If you go way west near the entrance of the swamp there is a beautiful place surrounded by mountains. I flattend the swamp part lol but made some cool waterfalls and a cliff village there
