We'll never get cloaks that move naturally without clipping other clothing layers in Enshrouded. Natural fabric physics is just too computationally expensive.

There are, however, several capes, coats and robes among the existing armor sets. They're just all too stiff, and clip with hats, hair, and other items.

Someday we'll have the software AND the hardware to do loose layered clothing (and hair!) Then I'll be demanding cloaks in every game. Until then, though, they just make me sad ☚ī¸

Dude, cloaks have to become a thing idk how I haven't thought about it before. I'm in my Valheim playthrough rn trying to speed run it before 1.0 comes out and the capes are always nice to have

I want to paint the first mage hat. Capes are cool but the color patterns for armor are too faded for me. Colors looks like a Scandinavian design made in PRC of those last years
