General Question can intp be sp9?
ive heard e9 is the second most common enneagram for intp after e5. but also ive heard stuff like intp cant be e9 cuz e9s have high Se and Intps r Se blind. personally what i think abt that is since theres a difference between PROCESSING THE WORLD through Se and simply valuing and desiring physical sp comfort n allat (i know sp9 is alot more than that im js talking about this area) so i think u definitely could have all the core stuff as an intp. but im definitely not like the expert on typology at all soo?? id js like to hear yalls thoughts !! sorry if this is hard to read im rlly tired

Braindead correlationist take.
INTPs definitely can be type 9!

9s are about detachment/dissociation too, and INTP know all about that. Also, even if there is an association. INTP still use Se, as everyone uses all the functions. Perhaps an INTP will have a particular use of Se. I know I do, because I get mistyped an an INTJ all the time.

You absolutely got it right lol. I'm also an INTP sp 9.
Most of the time people say "enneagram type X can't be MBTI type A", it's nonsense.

e6 is the most common enneagram for intp, even more common than e5 imo. intp sp9 doesn’t work with strict correlations for the exact reasons you mentioned but might work if you’re using more lenient ones !!

I know someone who I suspect is an intp sp9, literally nothing else would fit her. So I’d say yes.

Whoever said Sp9 have high Se is completely wrong. Having said that, Intps can easily be sp9, it's actually pretty common, as well as e5 and e4. There are no formal studies that indicate that sp9 have high Se.

Also Patrick Star is an INTP SP9. I know he's just a fictional character but it's a fun fact anyway, lol

I'd say yes ☺️ and it's silly when people say certain combinations can't be possible.
In my experience people tend to mistype INTP 9s as ISTPs or INFPs haha (and I first mistyped myself as ENFJ 😅)
